Top quality traditional washi(=Japanese plant-based paper ) and other products using washi are sold in this little shop. Real washi is very durable suited for origami crafts, book covers, paper dolls and letter pads. It is a shame they had relocated due to land development around Nihonbashi and their new shop is considerabley smaller in size. Still, if you are a Japanese arts and crafts buff or the lover of collecting sheets of beautiful paper, this is the place to visit.

Beautiful stationery store located relatively close to Ginza. Came here based on all the reviews and whilst a lot of the products were geared towards professional use, they were still very beautiful and the staff very friendly. Picked up a couple of washi tapes that were just beautiful.

Great stationary store if you are looking for paper with traditional motif or design. I was mainly looking for plain paper for making books via bookbinding and they didn’t have any selection for that.

日本橋ビル群、メインストーリートのビルの間に店を構えている和紙の専門店。ここを通るたびに商売になるのかしら？と感じていた。そうは思いつつも自分も紙細工を作るので、敷居は高いなと恐る恐る入ってみたら、アラっ素敵！！こうした和紙の日本製が（中には海外製もあるかも知れないけど…）お土産に海を渡るのは誇らしい気がして、このお店が、こうして商売をしていることに感謝したい思いがした。細工に使えそうな紙も290円で、出来た作品がいつもよりリッチに見えたのも良かった。

日本橋を歩いていて出逢った、創業1806年の素敵な老舗和紙舗。 和紙で作られた多種多様な封筒や便箋、千代紙や折り紙、お祝い袋や文房具が並び、伝統的な古典柄だけでなく、新しい様々なデザインの和紙が店内の壁いっぱいにディスプレイされています。 楽しく店内を見て回りながら、欲しいなと思うものがたくさんありましたが、小さなポシェットに入るだけに数を絞り、孫達への入学祝い袋とバースデーカードを買いました。 海外からのお客様も多いようで、なんとクイーンの故フレディ・マーキュリーさんも、かつてこちらで和紙の壁紙を購入されたとか＾＾ これからも「温故創新」で、和紙の歴史を守り続けていただきたいです。

外観はおしゃれで、雰囲気だけで店内にひきこまれます。店内にはいろんな種類の和紙や便箋があり、楽しめます。あれもこれも欲しくなり大変困ります😊
