It is a southern Indian specialty. Curry is one of the most familiar ethnic foods in Japan. I don't know any Japanese people who don’t like it. We cook and have it at home, too. It might be a little far from an authentic one (yes, it is undoubtedly Japanese-style), but we all love it. Here in Madras Meals, we can enjoy very authentic Southern Indian meals, a variety of curries, rice, naan, and many more in one single dish! Vegetarian meals are also available.

The vegan masala dosa was delicious—the perfect balance between crispy and soft. I loved the sauces that came with it, and the staff carefully explained that 3 our of 4 sauces were vegan, and one contained dairy, so that I would avoid it. I can't wait to come back. The owner is super friendly and fully understands vegan versus vegetarian and does not compromise on flavor. The interior was cozy, with two tatami style booths where you take off your shoes. They also have a vending machine outside with frozen vegan and non-vegan meals.

An authentic south Indian restaurant which indian local eats, after the meals thai with soy milk will be served as many vegetarian come here. Biriani lunch meal is only available on weekends, as the amount is very huge, you could order mini size. Cost : around 1,000 yen

The food is average but the behaviour of the staff is beyond pathetic. Good place to visit if you would like to risk ruining your day…

Madras Meals is a good place to go to if you are near Denenchofu park. The meat platter with fried chicken was great! However, I don't recommend going for the biriyani as it was not as flavorful compared to the other foods we got. The owner who took us to our table was very friendly and we were able to strike up a good conversation. I think the main thing that I disliked about the restaurant was the overall atmosphere as we had to sit in a cramped area of the restaurant. Regardless, Madras Meals deserves to get a 4/5 rating.

Madras Meals, a delightful South Indian food restaurant, offers an enticing all-you-can-eat option on Sundays at affordable prices. The restaurant boasts a delectable spread of authentic South Indian dishes, sure to satisfy any food lover's cravings. Customers praise the restaurant's flavorful taste and the wide variety of dishes available. The only drawback is that the place is a bit small, which might lead to waiting during peak hours. However, they make up for it with the convenience of nearby paid parking, making it a great spot to indulge in the flavors of South India.

Very pathetic sevice. No respect to the fellow people. Being in Japan for years, the staff has not learnt how to respect the people. Never going to visit this restaurant again and wont recommend this restaurant to any. Worst sevice.

It's my new favourite South Indian restaurant! The place is very small - almost a hole in wall, but the food is amazing! I loved everything I ate - which almost never happens. The Parotta was soft and flaky. The sambar was perfectly balanced with spices. The biryani was probably the best I've had in Japan!

Great authentic taste warm welcome and talk, small but cozy place. Taste felt like I'm back to Chennai. There was waiting Q for an Indian restaurant. Order was taken in advance hence it was good. Medu wada was fresh n yummy Mysore masala dosa was finger licking good

Home cook style south Indian kitchen. One dish, with four curries as much as you can eat. Usually 3 vegetarian options. Good stuff

Great lunch menu with a large selection of curries. The ‘special meals’ was the most complete set and is good value for money. Staff are diligently following Covid mitigation and will insist on customers using the alcohol spray when entering and ask you to keep your masks on whilst waiting for your food. Given the small and compact space in the restaurant it was reassuring to know they are taking measures seriously.

Amazing good experience, one of the best restaurants for South Indian food

This restaurant is fully Tamil themed restaurant where you can find all menu with Tamil and English also. Personally I liked rasam soup and mushroom 65 but veg koothu paratha was a average one. From shin maruko station it's a walkable one. You can have both veg and non veg foods and non veg foods are halal certified.

It’s food is really delicious! They offers South Indian authentic food with variety of dosa, curry & biryani (on weekends) Keema dosa is my personal favorite. Their spice level is really normal. Family seating options is available too. They have Indian wine, so you can explore that option too. Sometimes male staff hospitality is not good, but overall nice experience.
