Every single course we got there was some kind of show, even the drinks. We even got a personal magic show during dessert. There is a Photo Booth at the end too with tons of fun props. The experience from start to finish was just as fun as 13 years ago and they even have a kids menu here which is convenient for families. We couldn’t film the magic ninja but were allowed to film everywhere else and the night ended with a photoshoot too. I know a lot of people shy away at the price (we paid $400+ for family of 3) but considering some restaurants in Sydney cost $600-1000 I think this was worth every dollar for the experience and memories. If you love magic tricks and themed restaurants this is definitely a must!

But, when the whiskey we had chosen for our highball cocktails wasn't available we made the mistake of going with what was offered by the waiter instead of choosing from the menu. Which meant that instead of 2,000 yen for both drinks, we ended up unknowingly adding 10,000 yen to our bill. A bit of a mood killer after such a nice evening. But, I mentioned this to the restaurant and they were so kind as to refund us for the drinks which is such great service. So definitely give this place a try but pick your whiskey wisely :) We will for sure go back with family and friends!
