Nice and cozy place. There are not so many seats inside. Because people sit closely to each other so we were able to chat with the owner and other customers. They serve different menu for lunch and dinner. The food was really good. Homemade side dishes. Would love to go back again!!

We ate hear in November and had a lovely meal and good beer. It was hard to find interesting vegetarian or vegan food in Japan but this bar has a range of options and uses good local produce. In addition the service was excellent and enjoyable.

Excellent restaurant with healthy options. Has a sizable vegetarian and vegan option. The owner has spent time abroad and speaks good English. Portion sizes are great. And the quality of food is excellent. The hours listed on Google maps is incorrect. Add of November 2017 they are only open for lunch. From 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. They are not open for breakfast and dinner anymore.

I am not really into the vegan trend but the quality you get (for the price you pay) is amazing! Everything is tasty and prepared with a lot of care. An excellent small restaurant which deserves to be tried 💕

I LOVE this restaurant. The staff are friendly, and speak English quite well. The prices are amazing for the amount of food you get. The homemade bread is superb, and the variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes makes this little treasure a must-stop if you find yourself in Nagasaki. It is close to Youme Saito (a major shopping center), not too far from Nagasaki Station (10 minute walk), and there is parking on the side street just on the corner. It unfortunately doesn't seat very many, so I suggest getting there before the lunch rush.

Being a pescatarian in Nagasaki can be very difficult as pretty much EVERYTHING has an animal stock base (mainly pork) but Nobi offers the best of both vegan and vegetarian. Not only is Nobi hospitable but her staff is also extremely friendly. It is a small place but I think that adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. You get to converse not just with Nobi but the fellow customers. It is very cozy and a nice welcome from the hustle and bustle of Nagasaki. I recommend the vegan or salmon tar tar sandwich or the vegan curry. The portions are big and you get a nice side salad and chips to boot.

Such delicious vegetarian/vegan food! We had the vegan set meal - every element of this was a joy to eat. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Nagasaki!

Lovely little place. I was so impressed by the speedy multitasking of the chef when many customers arrived at the same time and didn't mind that I had to wait a bit. I really enjoyed my vegan hummus sandwich set, with vegetable soup and hot cocoa. I think it's a shame the 'Veggie Cafe' has some meat products but otherwise wholeheartedly recommend for tasty and nutritious food in a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

I finally had a real vegan meal after almost two weeks in Kyushu and it was super filling and delicious (the drink was really good too). The owner is extremely friendly as well as the other customers, I had a great time. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Nagasaki!

I love this place! One of the few restaurants I trust thanks to their local, high-quality ingredients. I recommend their vegan curry and soup, and homemade ginger tea for dessert! The owner speaks English really well too.

Stopped for a quick bite and it was excellent! Being Vegan always presents ‘challenges’ in Japan. However, this cafe had it all - whole wheat bread, brown rice, excellent vegan curry, vegan soup & salad. To top it off, the veggies & fruit smoothie was superb! Highly recommended!

It was super delicious and the people are soo friendly! We had the vegan set meal and the vegan sandwich. Both were very varied and tasty! There is a selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes and you can watch her prepare the food at the counter.

Had a great time. We came in the evening and got one of each vegan set from the dinner menu plus a whiskey highball. The bread was amazing and everything was delicious. On top of that, the vibes were great. We had a good time chatting with other visitors and the woman working there, got some good recommendations about what to do around Nagasaki and chat about City Hunter :) The woman spoke English and was friendly and happy to chat, plus she taught us a few Japanese phrases. We would definitely go back.

As a vegan I've been struggling to find restaurants to eat while travelling through Japan. This little restaurant was great! Great food and very nice people. Highly recommend you go there if you're vegan or just want to eat good food!

I went for dinner and had the Vegan Combo Set C. It was a balanced, tasty meal clearly made with care. The woman working was pleasant and could speak English very well. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because the rice paper rolls were a bit bland and very difficult to eat as they fell apart as soon as the plastic wrap came off. Next time I’m in Nagasaki though, I’d like to go in the morning to try their vegan donuts!

As a veggie it can be difficult to find suitable food in japan and this lovely cafe was so nice and refreshing. The food was absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients from their farm and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Really lovely vegetarian food, I had the vegan set and it was delicious. Went down well with a Yebisu beer. Would recommend if you are looking for something healthy and vego in Nagasaki.

We are from Germany and were searching for a vegetarian lunch in Nagasaki. We found this little tiny Bar and my wife and me both were overwhelmed from the atmosphere in the Bar and the friendliness of the service. The taste of our meal was absolutely delicious. ありがとうございます!!

Great little cafe that has many vegan options. It's hard to find vegetarian curry in Japan, so I was happy to find this spot

A nice find for vegan options in Nagasaki! I had the vegan sandwich, which to be honest didn’t look all that impressive but was actually very tasty and was surprisingly satisfying. The mixed vegetable smoothie was nice too. I also picked up a couple of their vegan donuts on my way out, and they were excellent! As far as the vibe goes, it’s a slightly small and cramped place, but comfortable enough! They also have English menus available.

We had the vegan lunch set for two people. It was very fresh and felt incredibly healthy. They really try and take care of their shop. Overall good lunch deal and value for money.

Very cosy café with a good atmosphere and yummy vegan Japanese food. They also sell vegan bread that looks great. I also had a good chai (without sugar) and a cookie (less sugar) I highly recommend this café.

I've been here many times. Service is always excellent. Bar-side seating with ambient lighting. The owner is very friendly and elegant, a great conversationalist. The food is simple, refreshing and veg-filled (the veg often homegrown and organic). They have vegetarian and vegan options. The portions are good and I love their bread (it's vegan).

Great friendly, cosy atmosphere. Loved the barstools along the counter, making it easy to chat and watch the delicious, healthy food being prepared in front of your eyes. Tasted as good as it looked, filling even after a long bike ride, and a good price. Wish I had found this place on my first not last day in Nagasaki!
