Amazing experience! From start to finish our Geisha Tea Ceremony was so relaxed, informative and fun. Nana showed us gracious Japanese hospitality. It was an immersion - From gorgeous hairstyling with flowers, to expert and creative kimono dressing, and a wonderful geisha interaction. We then were able to take photos in the gardens and walk the streets of Kyoto. Highly recommend!

Amazing and educational performance from the staff here. Love the performance and professionalism of the geisha who actually attended to us. We also had a session where there’s a Q and A. At the same time we got to learn how to make green tea, accompanied with dessert

Great experience with a young Maiko preparing tea for us. She also performed a dance and answered questions from the group. The sweet we had with tea was to die for, it had a thin layer of rice pastry filled with red bean paste. Overall everything was really nice. I wish I could do other experiences too.

A very interesting experience to meet with a real geisha (maiko)! She had a beautiful performance for our small group. Nana our leader was very hospitable and helpful to learn about the geisha history and culture. We also chose to get dressed up in kimonos.

Enjoyed this experience. The Maiko was lovely, danced beautifully, and was gracious in answering our questions. The plus was the permission to take pictures and video. Our host was wonderful in making the evening fun and explained it all. The tea ceremony portion was just enough to learn the details of drinking tea properly.

Words cannot quite express how wonderful my experience here was today. I had reserved a private tea ceremony with performance by a Maiko, with a friend. My friend had an emergency and could not come on the trip, so I was by myself. The staff and Maiko were so wonderful, helping me take photos, answering lots of questions and providing much information, and the kimono were beautiful. Part of the experience was to wear kimono, and they even allow you to wear it out around town after the ceremony. I could not have been more pleased and can’t wait to come back with my friend.

Kanosono-san was absolutely spectacular to watch in the traditional dancing ceremony as well as in the lovely game. Dodo-san gave us a great explanation as well about both the outfits and the culture and traditions. They also did a great Q&A for the entire group. I highly recommend this show and ceremony.

Incredibly beautiful experience with our incredible host Dodo and our Maiko, Masane (まさね). A serene setting in the heart of Kyoto a must visit. This delicate tea ceremony provides you with an amazing insight into the traditional world of a Maiko with a one and one time and a ceremonial dance and tea. We thoroughly recommend this experience. Thank you again Dodo, we will come back on our next trip. Gabby and Jack

We did the Geisha Tea Ceremony with Kimono Rental. Very cool experience. The staff was wonderful, walked around with kimono for an hour or so, then learned about gaiko and maiko for an hour. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience! We rented our kimonos for 6 hours and walked around Kyoto, after we attended the tea ceremony which was preformed by a Geiko. It was such a memorable experience, we highly recommend coming here while you're visiting Kyoto.
