We took the 55系統(京都バス) line. It only took 25 minutes. We didn't have to go around the city. It was really nice to sit alone as there weren't many people on weekdays. And save hours of time. There is a bathroom and luggage storage. Live in a small town The atmosphere is very good.

This is a strange bus stop where when you sit and wait for the bus, someone who comes after you interrupts you.

This is the bus stop in Ohara, famous for the song ♪Kyoto-Ohara Sanzenin♪. It's a small bus terminal with a bus information desk and restrooms. It is a base for sightseeing in Ohara, where many people cross the traffic light and go to the approach to Sanzen-in Temple (less than a 15-minute walk), while some people take the stairs next to the toilets in the back to Jakko-in Temple (less than a 20-minute walk). Unfortunately there is no restaurant or cafe in the building. There are also no convenience stores nearby (there is a Family Mart in Nomurabere, 3 stops away by bus. It takes about 10 minutes on foot). The terminal is vertically long, and on the right side of the bus information center at the entrance is the waiting line for the 16th line bound for Shijo Kawaramachi, the 17th line bound for Shijo Kawaramachi/Kyoto Station, and on the left is the waiting line for the 19th subway bound for Kokusai Kaikan Station. You can use a one-day subway/bus ticket (1,100 yen) or a transportation IC card to take these buses back to the city center, but if you are paying in cash, we advise you to purchase your ticket in advance at the information center if possible. Masu. The 17th train from Ohara to Kyoto Station is convenient because it does not require transfers, but during the tourist season it is often full before departure at Ohara, and there are delays as it passes through popular downtown areas such as Shijo Kawaramachi. As it is easier, we recommend taking the 19th line bound for Kokusai Kaikan Station to the last stop (23 minutes), then changing to the subway and heading to Kyoto Station (about 20 minutes). Both the 17th train bound for Kyoto Station and the 19th train bound for Kokusai Kaikan Station, there are approximately two trains per hour (alternating trains every 15 minutes). During busy periods, special buses that are not listed in the timetable may be operated, and depending on the season, there may be limited express buses that only stop in front of Yase Station, so please check the location carefully. 15 minutes to Yase Station on Route 19, 23 minutes to Kokusai Kaikan Station, 15 minutes to Yase Station on Route 17, 34 minutes to Demachiyanagi Station, 43 minutes to Sanjo Keihan Station, 49 minutes to Shijo Kawaramachi, 56 minutes to Shijo Karasuma It takes 65 minutes to get to Kyoto Station (albeit on time). Route 55 bound for Kibuneguchi, which runs only four times on Saturdays and Sundays, takes 25 minutes (change to Kibuneguchi at Kibuneguchi).

Visit in November 2022 Connects Kyoto Station ↔️ Ohara in about 70 minutes. This is the first flight in the morning, so if there is traffic, it will be more. The seats will be full on the first train. The perfect base for walking around Sanzen-in Temple and Jakko-in Temple. Apparently there is a bus between Ohara and Kibune on Saturdays and Sundays only, so being able to go there without having to transfer is really great! ️ There is a cafe nearby so you can take a break while walking around Ohara 😌 After the coronavirus, the number of tourists both domestically and internationally has increased, and they are waiting for buses, restaurants, and cafes. Plan with plenty of time ☺️ Memo to myself (lol) *Please check the bus company's website for the latest timetable. ★Kyoto city streets are congested regardless of the season, so when returning to the city, Ohara ↓ (Kyoto Bus Route 19 / 22 minutes 360 yen) ↓ Kokusaikaikan Station (starting station) ↓ (Transfer to Subway Karasuma Line / 20 minutes 290 yen) ↓ Kyoto Station A local recommended it to me. (I did exactly that, and it was a great decision!) #Kyoto #Ohara #Sanzenin #OharaSanzenin #Bus trip #kyoto #japan #bus #ohara

This is a bus stop close to Sanzen-in and Jakko-in. From here, you can reach Sanzen-in Temple in about 10 minutes on foot, and Jakko-in Temple in about 15 minutes. I took the bus from the bus stop in front of Kokusai Kaikan Station, but you can also get there from Shijo Station in the Kawaramachi direction. The number of flights increases during the autumn foliage season.
