Amazing yarn store in the north of Kyoto. Love the concept of how they sell the yarn by the 10g lot. Lots of interesting yarns with many textured varieties. There is also kits which are perfect as gifts for your crafty friends. Be sure to put a few hours aside to ensure there is time for the creation of kits and “Corning” up of yarn. Limited English spoken but very friendly.

It's a store that opened in what used to be the only game center in Ichijoji until a few years ago. In the days of the arcade, it was a hangout place for unscrupulous people (especially on the second floor of the building), so it didn't have a good reputation among the neighbors, and there were times when it was noisy at night. When this store opened after its withdrawal, it had a stylish atmosphere and seemed to fit the image of Ichijoji, which has a large family population. I don't have anything to do, so I just pass by the store all the time, but the bad image it had from the old game center days has disappeared, and it's now easier to stop by, and it feels much brighter. I think it's rare to find a place that handles so many different types of yarn.

There are about 10 limited edition colors of Harmony made from 100% silk thread, and I received 5 of the colors I wanted wrapped in two 10g pieces. When I was looking at the thread while I was winding it, I saw a sample of a straw hat, and it turned out to be made from the same bamboo tape used for peanut pochette. It was so soft...I bought one ball. There were 5-6 colors available, but I chose the classic camel. I’m looking forward to knitting it now☆ I’m glad I went today♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪
