We were very impressed by this observation deck, one of the best in Osaka. The main level offers amazing views of the Osaka area. The huge space is sleek and modern. There is a restaurant level below, which also offers great views. It is a bit pricey at 1500 yen per adult when we visited, but worth the money if you spend enough time soaking up the views. The viewing area is entirely indoors.

This is building is tall and huge. One of the amazing things to do is buy ticket to go on the top of the Building Viewing Deck 60th Floor. It's such a wonderful view especially in the night. But you can also just go and enjoy the view on the other floors for free. There are also a lot of restaurants on the other floors. Note: If you bought a Ticket for the viewing deck, you can use that ticket to have a free drink if you dine in on the one of the restaurant in the building.

We didn't make it through to the paid viewing floors of this tall building, but we did manage to get to the free viewing platform on level 16.  This platform is outdoors and mainly faces one side of Osaka so whether that's enough is up to you.  There is also seating in the area, however as the views are a little set back from the edge already, you don't really get to enjoy the view in much of this area.  Still, it's good for a quick visit even if you don't go up further.

Make sure to buy a ticket and go up to the 60th floor. When you are in the elevator, look up! Any time of day is good but we went right before sundown so we were able to see the entire city of Osaka in both daylight and nighttime. It was incredible up there!

When it comes to capturing the essence and grandeur of Japan's urban landscape, Abeno Harukas stands tall - quite literally! As the tallest skyscraper in Osaka and the second tallest building in all of Japan, Abeno Harukas easily enthralls visitors with its striking architecture, vibrant atmosphere, and awe-inspiring views. From the moment you set foot in this iconic landmark, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of elegance, entertainment, and unmatched city panoramas. Abeno Harukas is a masterpiece of contemporary architecture, meticulously designed to seamlessly integrate with its surroundings. The sweeping glass façade not only provides a sleek visual appeal but also allows an abundance of natural light to flood the interior, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The seamless fusion of modernity, innovation, and Japanese aesthetics radiates from every angle, making it a must-visit for architecture enthusiasts.

Stunning sky scraper with plenty of shops and food places to last you a whole day. It's located very close to a train station, and have a very cool viewing platform at the 60th floor! Must visit if you are in the area.

The observation decks are really lovely. The first on is on 80 meters (19 floor). Here you can sit in a small area and enjoy the view (for free). The second observation deck is on the 60th floor. To reach the floor you have to switch elevators on the 19th floor. Although on the 19th floor are the ticket machines for the entry fee (1500 Yen). You are able to buy food and drinks on the 59th floor that is reachable with an escalator from the floor above.

Honestly speaking this is one of the most beautiful Tower Observation Places I have seen. I have been in Beijing, Chicago, New York, Panamá, and this is one of the most well thought and designed places. If you don't want to pay, you can go to the 16th for free and will enjoy a great view of the city.

Lovely place with beautiful views 🥰 Bought tickets from K and exchanged at Floor 16. Then you take the loft direct from 16-60 which takes about 56secs. Not as crowded during a Tuesday evening. Weather was good. Come visit and enjoy the view of Osaka at night ❤️

Well built and new looking. Went up to the top. View is nice but I feel that the view from Umeda Sky Building is nicer as it overlooks the river. There is a nice place to have a meal or snack.

It wasn't crowded, so we got to enjoy the whole place to ourselves, got to see a good view from east to west, north to south area. I haven't been to tennoji zoo yet, but I was able to see the whole zoo from the top. We started late afternoon, so we also waited until its dark to experience the city lights view too. We ate at the 58th floor, the food was great.

This place was a great view of the city and a bunch of great places to enjoy. The two story observation deck was amazing. The top floor had a 360 degree view of the city while the bottom floor of the observation deck help a cafe, shabu shabu, and an amazing garden to lose yourself in.

Provides a magnificent view from the highest accesible altitude in the city. You can see various famous buildings or sightseeing spot from here, if that amuses you. You can also experience going to a toilet with full height glass walls hiding nothing of the toilet from the open world. I guess it would also be great to have a date dinner here, after watching the sunset.

Best place for getting a 360 degree view of Osaka. Special tip: You can get best view of sunset over Osaka bay with a drink or cup coffee from this place if you visit during sunset hours. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Osaka.

Tallest building in all of Japan, it is an impressive structure to see. There is an observation deck where you can go for 18000 yen. You can easily get lost in the mall spread up to 14 level. Because the building is that tall, it's quite a challenge to get good pictures.

TOTALLY WORTH for spending the money to go above by seeing those magnificent sunset view and night view of the Osaka City. Ticket bought on site cost 1800 yen. Got a 30cm sausage as snack / dinner which tastes quite good. Really recommend to come when you visiting Osaka. Suggestion: bought ur ticket online (Klook, or any other website) to get cheaper entrance fee.

Used to be the no. 1 highest building in Japan just got surpassed late this year in 2023. Best place to enjoy the night scene in Osaka region. Visited the observatory deck during weekday. Came in a hour before closure at 10pm. The crowd is far less than what I expected. 10/10 recommended to go in Osaka.

Located on the 16th floor, the Abeno Harukas Art Museum boasts a beautiful atrium where you can enjoy a regal view for free. However, keep in mind that some columns might obstruct the sight. I recommend purchasing tickets to access the upper floors for a breathtaking night view without any hindrance

  • 5/5 Bhanuka S. 4 months ago on Google • 338 reviews
We booked tickets for the upper deck online. First you need to take the elevator to the 16th floor and reach the deck which is free. Then you show your pass (or buy one there) and take the next elevator to the 60th floor. The space is huge and even the toilets are exposed to the glass curtain walls. 59th floor has restaurants and a seating area as well.

The view is outstanding, the elevator is very fast to the observation deck. Price ¥1800 per adult. Breathtaking and wasn't crowded on Sunday. Make sure to go early on the day you decide to visit. Signage is in English and Japanese. Located above the Marriott Miyako hotel. I recommend going here if you're visiting Osaka, it's worth the trip. The night view of the city will make your heart beat faster.

People who'd love a bird's eye view, I recommend you visit the tallest building in Japan, Abeno Harukas. Each of the open-to-air floors are decorated with surprisingly beautiful decorations such as glass spheres hanged over each flowerbed, creating an atmosphere likely for early couples and friends too.

The mall and basement supermarket is a must visit! Spectacular display of gourmet dishes and groceries spanning the entire area. The Sunset view nearby the cafe at the top of the tower is gorgeous as well, so make sure to stay for it on your visit.

  • 5/5 Claire T. 4 years ago on Google
Amazing place to visit especially at sunset to see the city change and the lights appear. Plus, they offer an interactive light show which is stunning! Worth the visit. There's also a street food bar close by offering vegan, vegetarian, Muslim & normal versions of the local dish tacoyaki.

Abeno Harukas is a nice “luxury” shopping center. You can find lots of high-end shops and good restaurants. Only problem is it can get a bit confusing finding your way around, if the shop your looking for is in one building (the main) or across a bridge on certain floors to a connecting building, etc.

  • 5/5 Vita R. 4 years ago on Google
The highest building in Osaka. You can see the Osaka city in here. There is a food court and also kids corner in here. If you like photography or sunset hunter, you can get the beautiful sunset in the rooftop

(Translated by Google) It became the tallest skyscraper in Japan that surpassed the Yokohama Landmark Tower, and I stopped by when I was shopping. There are also hotels and restaurants, so if you like the night view, you can try it once. In addition, since there is an entrance fee of 1500 yen on the observation floor, it may be a matter for individuals to decide whether or not to pay for the value. However, if you think that you can see the night view from the higher floors in Kansai, it's not too expensive, but it seems that the feeling is different here in Osaka and Yokohama. Please note that the floor around 20:00 is crowded.

We planned for Osaka before we head to Tokyo Skytree. Unlike Tokyo where we planned in the night, Osaka Harukas we visited during the day. Same as all other cities, you be able to see the entire Osaka city. You may have glimpse of Mount Fuji if the weather is good. Depending if you like to see the city from top then it is a must. 🙂 Tips: Go during the morning after your breakfast, no need to queue. You need not purchase ticket in advance if you go early. Have a light snack and coffee and enjoy the view at the same time at their cafe at the top floor. So enjoy 🙂

For 1500¥, roughly €10/$12, you will have one of the best city views in all of Japan. The 360 degree view of Osaka is very impressive and shows you how big the area really is. I prefer going at night so you can see al the lights of the city.

I recently visited Abeno Harukas and it was an incredible experience. As one of the tallest buildings in Japan, the views from the observation deck were simply breathtaking. From the moment I stepped into the building, I was impressed by the modern and sleek design. The observation deck provided panoramic views of the city skyline, allowing me to take in the awe-inspiring beauty of Osaka. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered unobstructed views, and I was able to spot famous landmarks and even catch a glimpse of Mount Rokko in the distance. Aside from the stunning views, Abeno Harukas is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. I had the opportunity to explore the shopping area, which was filled with a wide range of stores offering everything from high-end brands to local souvenirs. It was a shopper's paradise. When it was time for a meal, I decided to try one of the restaurants in the building. The dining options were diverse, with a range of cuisines to choose from. I opted for a traditional Japanese restaurant and was delighted by the delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The attentive service added to the overall dining experience. In addition to shopping and dining, Abeno Harukas also houses a museum and an art gallery. I took the time to explore the exhibits and was impressed by the collection of artwork and cultural artifacts on display. Overall, my visit to Abeno Harukas was truly memorable. The combination of stunning views, excellent shopping and dining options, and cultural attractions made it a must-visit destination in Osaka. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist, I highly recommend a visit to Abeno Harukas for a unique and unforgettable experience.

If you don’t want to spend 1,800yen to go to the 58th-60th Fl observatory or have not much time; you can simply take the elevators to the 16th floor (where observatory tickets and musuem tickets are sold) and there’s already a free observatory and one can already see much of Osaka. If you get hungry/thirsty there’s a cafe and convenience store too (!!!) at the 17th floor which is a just an escalator ride away.

Abeno Harukas is a building located at Tennoji Station in central Osaka. With a height of about 300m, as of August 2018 this is the tallest building in Japan. In the building there is Kintetsu shopping center as well as many shops and companies. The top floor is an observation space that offers panoramic views of Osaka. In the evening, the view from here is also extremely romantic. Abeno Harukas 300 (observatory) Expense: Adults: 1,500 yen High school students (12 ~ 17 years old): 1,200 yen Elementary school students (6 ~ 11 years old): 700 yen Opening hours: 9:00 ~ 22:00

Amazing view of Osaka! The sunset was pretty from there too. It was worth the money. The view was both pretty during the day and after dark.

Great place to experience the tallest building in Osaka / Japan. It wasn't very busy when we went to visit and we didn't buy any tickets in advance. No waiting time

Bought my ticket on klook for 1500¥ which is cheaper than buying at the place itself. Went near sunset time and i was able to see both the day and night view. The experience was phenomenal, this should be at the top of everyone’s list!!!

Great views of Osaka. Had to pay extra as it was not included in Osaka pass, only gave a discount. Came first thing in the morning, so it wasn’t crowded

Not too crowded on a monday afternoon. Great view from the 60th floor. Remember to keep your eyes open / cameras on video mode ready in the lift! You will be in for a treat with some special lighting and music.

Entrance fee for the observation deck on the 60th floor was 1800 yen/ person but well worth it. 300m high the view was spectacular and the sunset was beautiful.

A great place. You can spend the whole day just looking at the scenery. Enjoy 60th floor. Then go down to the 58th floor to relax and get some refreshments and continue to enjoy the scenery

I visited here in a evening, reaching the top floor (300M) without much waiting. The view was great, but unfortunately this is Osaka, not Tokyo, not New York, nor London, so there aren't many big landmarks to see or to be amazed. Don't get me wrong. The night view is still great, it's just not that interesting comparing to other cities' views. We still managed to check all corners and found some points of interest (e.g. Osaka Castle, tower of the New World, Tennoji Temples....etc). One thing I think is pretty interesting is to watch the trains coming and leaving from above. This building is at a intersection of many rail roads and you can see them moving around like a miniatures.
