Excellent charcoal grill amid a tranquil ambient. Truly romantic place for a good dinner and ambient. Traditional houses with kitchens spread along the road present the preservation of the layout. Excellent!

I cannot fault this place. Every time I have been, it has been top-level. Amazing food and amazing staff. Chef Momo-chan had been in a car accident the last time I went here, I hope he's doing well and fully recovered.

This restaurant never disappoints you. Perfect for special occasions, but also good to visit time to time for an exquisite meal. Recommended: any of the beef dinner courses, which also comes with coffee and very original dessert. Classic decor with lots of antique interior items. Highly recommended.

Here we go..we family come visiting here atleast Once a month.. Very expensive but your day will be so worted. The food and the atmosphere is highly recommended.. Very very nice place to visit.. My favorite one is garlic rice,chiffon cake..

I love all the Zulia restaurants and this one is no exception. Service and menu selection are truly top notch and are something to heralded and enjoyed. We enjoyed our family get together there and really look forward to going back again soon. Definitely a spot to add to your list!

It's one of the best restaurants in the west part of Tokyo, and it offers excellent Euro fusion cuisine in teppan-yaki style, which is distinctively Japanese. It's truly enjoyable to see fresh ingredients turned into fabulous dishes in front of you and to eat as soon as they’re ready. Though Ukai is famous for wagyu steak, I'd definitely recommend everyone try rock salt steamed abalone. For the last dish of your course, so-men(thin Japanese noodle) rather than standard garlic fried rice is recommended. For beverages, they have a good selection of European wine, and somewhat limited selection of beer and sake. Personally, I enjoyed non-alcohol cocktail, yamamomo cider(red bayberry), which is served as available basis in spring and summer. Architecturally speaking, the decor is a bit eclectic, Japanese and European style mix, and yet everything seems to fit together nicely. Private dining rooms are available for a group, and with some help it's wheelchair accessible. Reservation is not required but strongly recommended.

Private dining options including an entire private dining kitchen house with views over mountain/mount takao We visited and were in the private dining room with tepan and bar as a group. Excellent wine selection and range goes to very expensive old vintage french. This restaurant and its main building upstairs bar area is very old school and the japanese take of old european.
