Ade is one of the few remaining local lesbian bars in Nichome - and it is one of the best. It does not seat many people, so it can be overcrowded during peak drinking hours, but it empties out not long after last train and admits men after 1:00 AM or so. The staff are all fantastic and are among the friendliest and kindest bartending staff in Nichome, especially Natsu and Jin. As one of the touchstones of the Nichome experience, it is definitely recommended.

I came to this bar quite often and enjoyed each time I was there... up until the moment I handed one of the two bartenders a 10,000 yen note and was handed back change as if it was a 5000 yen note. What a shame!

A great little lesbian bar in Tokyo's gay district. Has a mix of Japanese and international visitors, with a friendly atmosphere. It was very busy, even on a Sunday night, especially when Goldfinger closed for the night. (Goldfinger is the larger, louder lesbian bar.)

Safe space for lgbtq+ community. I drank there alone and made a few of friends there.
