The biggest mosque in Fukuoka City. When I was in there every Friday, I met lots of moslems were also praying. Because of the limited size and also Covid 19 pandemic situation, they performed Friday prayer twice (around 12 pm and 1pm). It is located in Hakozaki ward, near Hakozaki station. If you go there, you can also buy halal meat near this mosque (Azar Halal Shop and Gyomu Super).

Beautiful Masjid, MashaAllah. It is the first masjid built in Kyushu Island in 2009. The masjid serve many activities for muslim community around fukuoka such as : daily prayer, jumuah prayer, special event or gathering, Japanese event, Ramadhan iftar and also marriage ceremony. There are 4 floor, basement commonly used for gathering and having dinner (iftar). The second floor is the main praying hall for men, the third floor is praying hall for women, and the top floor is for lecture, dinner for sisters

The mosque was clean and it was quite welcoming even to non-Muslims. The Friday prayer sermon was delivered in a mixture of English and classical Arabic. There are multiple prayer rooms spread across 4 floors. Most of the attendees appeared to be South Asian and South East Asian, with a number people from other parts of the world as well as a few Japanese locals. I was informed that there is a second mosque in the area called the Itoshima Masjid and Islamic Culture Center. Might be worth visiting for Muslim residents of Kyushu or anyone interested in Islam in Japan.

This mosque has amazing positive energy inside. Whenever I go there to pray or to have iftar (in the month of Ramadan) I always gather positive vibrations. In the month of Ramadan, communities from Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Pakistan and Bangladesh arrange Iftar Mahfil here. Even people from other religions and believes are also welcome. If you want to know about Islamic culture and Ramadan please attend one Iftar Mahfil.

Very good Community and interesting activities. Non-Muslims can enter the mosque to watch prayers, discuss with others various Islamic and cultural issues, and collect introductory booklets on Islam. They are also allowed to attend Muslim prayers, if they wish.

Fukuoka Masjid is open for any non-Muslims as well. Non-Muslims can enter the mosque to watch prayers, discuss with others various Islamic and cultural issues, and collect introductory booklets on Islam. They are also allowed to attend Muslim prayers, if they wish. The cultural wing of the mosque offers weekend Arabic language lessons for kids, women and men, cooking classes once every three months. It also arranges seminars and dialogue sessions occasionally.

👍👍 Been a long time coming but I finally got to see it. And I highly recommend it. In addition to the statue there is a small merchanise venue, where I don’t think any of the merch was unique to that spot, as inside the Lalaport is the Side-F Gundam base. Also comparing this to the Unicorn statue outs...
