Booked this hotel with a promotion code. As a diamond member all benefits were not granted apart from early check in and an hour late check out till 12 pm. Hotel pre assigned room at 29th floor however staff assigned me to 17th floor next to group tourists who were having room party till mid night. Location is not ideal if you are into shopping and restaurants. Overall a disappointing night stay. Ps. You have to pay to use facilities Sotokoto club - indoor pool , Jacuzzi,Sauna ( adult JPY 2200/ Child 1100) Stone bath Iwaburo ( JPY 1760/ child 880)

I have been traveling so many times but it is horrible experience that you should be in long line for breakfast. More disturbing thing is there was discrimination for members or local people. There was fast track only for those. This is not something you expect when you staying hotel like Hilton. I won't come back again.

When we first arrived early in the morning at about 10 am, I asked a hotel staff member at the reception area if it's possible to check in earlier if they have our room ready. I was told that it's "impossible" and that check-ins are only available from 4 pm. We waited and decided to try queuing to check in at about 3pm. There were again staff who tried to divert us unless we're premium members or some sort. We dodged and was told by reception that our room was ready, and we managed to check in slightly earlier than 4 pm. We're glad, but this experience was not exactly what we'd expect from Hilton. Swimming in the hotel is also chargeable, our first time experiencing this as well, and we're surprised. The rooms and attached bathrooms are clean and comfortable, although a little dated. We had a beautiful view, and we managed to catch a glimpse of the adjacent dome opening after a game. Overall, it's still a pleasant stay.

You must pay for internet, if you are not a rewards member with status. My first night there I went to dinner not long after the buffet opened and the food was terrible. Soggy, cold noodles, cold supposed to be hot meats, stale bread etc. It was not worth the 5,500 Yen. I can only vouch for the room I stayed in which was not clean. Both the couch and chair cushion had white stains on them. The toilet leaked, hair in the shower and the floor in the room was dirty.

The room is nice and has a great view. The bed is King-size, very comfy pillows and beddings. Yet bathroom essentials could definitely be improved. Breakfast buffet is quite disappointing (given this is 5-star hotel) with limited option and seating area is quite hot. Also, they charge 3850 yen/h to access the swimming pool which is shocking to us. They said it's "high season" but still that price is way too much..

The incredible hospitality from the staff dominated my experience at this hotel. The views were nice. The rooms were decent but the upper floor rooms need to be renovated. The food and drinks were amazing, but expensive! The gym was small but had everything I needed. The range of service offered by the staff was heart felt. No one ever said ‘no’ to a request but always found a way to help. From getting us baseball tickets to finding the ingredients for my favorite cocktail, the staff never failed me, and always treated me with humble kindness and respect.

The hotel is a little dated, but the customer service is top notch. They really go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffets are some of the best I've had at any hotel.

So hilton asked me about my stay in email I threw them a 2 out of 10 stars. This is what I typed in the description of why I gave them that rating: I booked my room online at the same time as a co-worker, we were in the same room together. I only needed a single bed room; however, I made a joke about getting the "Japanese Style" room. My co-worker had never been to Japan before and talked me into getting the "upgrade" to the Japanese room for the extra one hundred dollars. When I checked in I was shocked with how small the room was. The rooms air conditioning also did not extend to the toilet which was down a small hallway, and it was uncomfortably hot in the toilet as that side of the building was facing the sun. The hotel was also extremely out dated and in severely in need of a renovation. Furniture was chipped and worn-out, wallpaper discolored and stained throughout the hotel. The food inside the executive lounge was dreadful. Finding the lobby from the parking lot was a nightmare. There are no clear signs in English indicating that the lobby is on the other side of mini mall. Driving up to the hotel it looks like a Hilton, walking from the parking lot to foyer it looks like a hotel once you land on the 4th floor from the escalator you arrive in a mini mall. There was a map but it was all in Japanese. Overall, I would compare the entire experience with something I might find in a 2 star resort hotel.

We went there 2 nights . This hotel is far away from station. Extremely inconvenient. But next to paypay dome which for concert and baseball games. If you are not come for concert or a game. Should really avoid this hotel. Amenities are super poor. Must book the most expensive suite room even it is not value worth at all. Otherwise other room is totally unliveable even one night, NIGHTMARE

I had some issues with the online hilton site (online messaging), although that was resolved by the Fukuoka staff, who were very accommodating. The buffet breakfast each morning was amazing, definitely worth the extra cost. The two bath / sauna / pool facilities you have to pay for. The 7th floor bath and sauna is exclusive for Hilton guests and is valid for 24 hours. Definitely worth the cost. I can't speak for the other place (with the bath, sauna and pool) as I did not go.

Really enjoyed our stay here at the Hilton Fukuoka Seahawk, our first time staying here. Nice to stay in the relaxing enclave of Mochi Seaside rather than downtown, enjoying walks on the beach and views of the bay. We stayed at the Panorama suite to enjoy the views, it is pretty expensive but nice for a special occasion. Hotel treats Hilton loyalty guests very well with strong recognition of status, this is a very nice touch (e.g. lounge access and free parking for Gold).

it’s not worth the money at all. check in time is 4pm and check out time is at 11am, it’s not even a day to stay. i were there around 4:45pm to check in, they put me in a queue and wait for more than 30 minutes. i had to voice out that i had an appointment at another place at 6pm. till then they helped me in another line to check in the room. it’s not a good check in experience at all for this grade of the hotel. i am very disappointed.

Room cleaning is not good but the front desk service is quite good. Great view of the Fukuoka tower from our room. The room service Pizza was horrible but the beef dish was good. Taxi is always available at the front. far from the subway station. it would have been nice if hotel offers shuttle to the subway station. a bit far from center city.

Had a great stay in Hilton Sea Hawk, room is not too big not too small, good for 1 to 2 person staying, place is huge and beautiful, just one downside is this place is so far away from the city, need to take a bus ride 306 or W1 around 30-40mins to reach the city plus the waiting time for the bus to arrive should be 1 hour to the city and another hour back from the city, I feel like it’s a waste of time, but oh well Fukuoka is not as crowded as compared to Osaka or Tokyo, so it’s fine, the bus is seldom crowded anyway, there’s a Family mart just 2mins walking distance inside the hotel at Level 4, overall Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk is a great hotel, staffs are friendly and professional, they will greet you when they see you or hold the lift for you when you are around, good job Hilton team 👍🏻 keep up the good work!

I have stayed here a few times. The stadium is right next to the hotel and the streets get VERY crowded on game nights. The only food options outside the hotel is at the mall. There is a FamilyMart that can be accessed without leaving the hotel. Great service from the staff

Beautiful hotel, but I'm not sure I'm ever going to be able to see it in quite the same light after having read Ryu Murakami's book about it.

  • 3/5 Elizabeth S. 4 months ago on Google
The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Ami was particularly helpful. The rooms are okay but a bit small for the cost. The executive lounge breakfast food is mediocre to poor. The cocktail hour food is just okay but drinks are good- beer and wine. The view of the water is beautiful but the trade off is that you’re not conveniently located to any decent outside Restaurants. You will have to walk long distances or take a cab to get around.

Hilton Fukuoka is a very new and modern hotel in the chain. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable place. Great views of the ocean and the mountains. Great on site eating options along with a nearby mall with a huge food court and restaurant options. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure you had a great stay. I used the gym daily and it’s a nice facility that is underutilized … free weights, machines, typical treadmill/elliptical/bike options. The airport subway line is a short walk away (about 15-20 minutes). So easy to get to meetings or tourist locations.

Our recent stay at Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk was nothing short of exceptional, leaving us with indelible memories of comfort, hospitality, and breathtaking views. From the moment we checked in to the moment we reluctantly checked out, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights was the two-room suite with four beds, a rare find that catered perfectly to our group's needs. The spaciousness and thoughtful layout of the suite provided ample room for relaxation and ensured everyone had their own space. The panoramic views of the sea and Fukuoka Tower from our room were simply mesmerising, creating a serene atmosphere that added to the overall tranquility of our stay. As we entered the hotel, we were greeted by the enchanting Christmas decorations that adorned the main dining room and lobby. The festive ambiance added a touch of warmth and joy to the already inviting atmosphere, creating a perfect setting for the holiday season. The attention to detail in the decorations showcased the hotel's commitment to creating a memorable experience for its guests. The housekeeping at Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk was truly immaculate. Our suite was kept in pristine condition throughout our stay, reflecting the hotel's commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Returning to a flawlessly made bed and impeccably clean room after a day of exploring Fukuoka was a testament to the high standards maintained by the housekeeping staff. Equally commendable was the brilliance of the front desk staff. Their professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness stood out, making the check-in and check-out processes seamless. As our final accommodation before flying back to Australia, Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk has left an enduring impression on us. The combination of the spacious two-room suite, stunning views, festive decorations, impeccable housekeeping, and exceptional front desk service made our stay unforgettable. If you're seeking a hotel that seamlessly blends luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality, Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk is undoubtedly a top choice. We look forward to one day returning and reliving the magic of our stay at this remarkable hotel.

I attended a wedding here. The ceremony was at the Chapel In The Sky on the 35th floor facing out to sea with an all glass enclosure. Breathtaking! The reception was held in a beautiful banquet hall on the first floor. Everything about it was perfect and professionally executed. The 5 course meal was exceptional.

When it comes to a hotel, the first impression is the most important when we get in a lounge, or when we first open a room door, I noticed that there is biggest problems on my recent stay. We weren’t welcomed by afternoon team when we got in/out the lounge. Hospitality is the basic! Hoteliers need to be trained properly. I wanted managing director in Hilton Fukuoka to read my review. When i opened the room door, there was pungent odor, smoke smell. This is not a hotel. Also a membership doesn’t mean anything on this hotel. This is one of the worst stay i’ve ever done. Go elsewhere! Don’t be fooled by ocean front view!!

This area is my traditional town. I always stay at the Hilton Sea Hawk when I visit. Why? Because the view on the breakfast floor is so nice. Look up at the window and see... A rich time will pass.

  • 4/5 Brandon T. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were great and very clean. There is a buffet on the 4th floor and there is a giant dome on that level. There was also incredible hospitality from the staff. The only downside is that this area is a bit far away from the city centre. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place to people staying in Fukuoka.

I enjoy our stay there. Japanese style Breakfast was great. I would like to give my special thanks to miss Yuna from the bell desk. We have six peace of luggage, and three of them are over 30kg. Yuna help us to transfer our super heavy luggage carefully and efficiently. That's the best experience during my whole trip, also being the main reason for me to come back to Hilton Fukuoka in the future.

Great hotel. The Seven Tables restaurant on the 6th floor had great service and super delicious food! The morning Buffett was great too! It’s been so long since I had a decent breakfast buffet. Completely satisfied with our stay. Looking forward to coming back.

If I could, I would rate it a 4.5 - the location is a bit out of the center but you trade that for easy access to evening walks along the sandy beach, access to the express way and truly stunning views all day and night. The COVID measures in Oct 2022 are still super disruptive but the food in the atrium is good and the breakfast buffet offers plenty of variety between Japanese, Chinese, Korean and western accents. Our room was super quiet, in excellent working order, stunning views to Fukuoka tower and a comfortable bed. Note: The transfer to the international conference center takes about 20 mins since the taxis ovoid the expressway. Sadly, the onsen or stone bath is not hot enough, all in doors and a bit boring.

Room was great. Very spacious and nice view. Location wise can be a bit out of central bit very good of u travelling out of fukuoka as it link to expressways directly. Ample parking slots available and link to a mall. Breakfast was excellent.

The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to be supportive during my stay and professional photo shoot at the hotel. The staff was very helpful to me snd my entire team. The views and amenities are fantastic. It was a wonderful place to shoot with multiple location options, especially in the executive room at the front of the hotel that's like the bow of the ship with views of both sunset and sunrise.

Where do I begin? As Americans, my husband and I normally stay at Hiltons in Japan with our children because they are an American chain that has always been tattoo friendly and gone above and beyond for all of our vacation experiences. First, Hilton Fukuoka goes out of its way to hide the fact the indoor/outdoor pool is something you have to pay for…a whopping ¥2500 per adult. Just Google the hotel and its pools are a part of its photo portfolio…poor business tactic when so many Hiltons in Japan don’t ask for an extra fee (e.g., Hilton Sesoko). Moreover, the pool disclaimer asks us to leave if we cannot cover-up our tattoos. Again, willing to observe customs, hence why we went with an international brand hotel and not a Japanese brand. We were happy to pay the close to $450.00 per/night fee for a family suite that guaranteed proximity to attractions we wanted to see. However, again Hilton brand normally delivers…we have a hot kettle and instant coffee sticks….hmmmm Hilton in Tokyo and Okinawa offer a Nespresso (with unlimited capsule refills) in its upper floor rooms. Not trying to come across ungrateful, but for the price per night, we are discovering this only means a place to sleep and if you want anything above that be prepared to pay (a lot). Hilton is represented so much better across Japan, truly disappointed at the Fukuoka location. In our opinion, not a family friendly stay. Will not come back.

An amazing hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurants are great, the breakfast buffet is very nice. I just love this place and the people who run it.

The upgrade was much appreciated. The food at the lounge was very nice. I took good advantage of the 25% off at the retaurant. All the staffs took good care of me as usual. Thanks again.

After a 10 year hiatus we were finally able to return to our favorite hotel in Japan. Although we were not able to attend a baseball game, the other attractions around the city were just as we remembered. The staff, as usual, were extremely courteous and assisted us with our every need.

Amazing hotel and location, great and clean rooms with amazing sea views and hawks flying around. Stuff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommended! Why does this hotel called Sea hawks? Because they are flying around next to your window!
