This is such an awesome place to stay. Super clean, huge comfortable beds, and the owner Ryo is amazing. (He drives to the hill every morning)

Cozy and clean. The inn keeper, Ryo, was fantastic! Short walk to supermarket and train station. Convenient location to drive to Hanazono. In addition, Ryo offers rides to Hirafu in the morning and back in the evening.

I've staied at Tabi for 9 nights in 2023 Jan and that was one of the best decision I made for that winter snowboarding vocation. - Tabi is quiet and beautiful and it's walkable from the nearest Kutchan station which has the winter shuttle bus to Hirafu and you also can check with Rio about a pick-up service from the station. - There's also a big supermarket and some restaurants in the walkable distance. - If you drive, Tabi also has a parking lot, or like me, you can take Rio's free morning shuttle bus to Hirafu or Hanazono every day! - I lived in the dorm room and the bed and space is the biggest one I've ever seen, and it's clean and super cozy. - Restroom is clean, shower room is clean and hot water is always available. - The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the living room is a wonderful place that you can eat, drink and chat with other people. - Oh, not to mention that Rio may host a super delicious hotpot party someday, and I was so lucky to have 2! Making many friends in Tabi was one of the best memories I had in Niseko this winter, and I really appreciate Rio's hospitality and kindness. Definitely would recommend Tabi to everyone and I just can't wait to visit it again~

An excellent place to stay for a few days to climb Mt. Yotei if you don't mind hostels that is. The host is very friendly and extremely helpful, he even offers to drive you to the mountain and pick you up when you get back whenever you want. I wanted to start early and he drove us there at 4:30! What more can you ask for? Cheap rooms, good service, an awesome view from the lounge and a helpful host that speaks English very well. The beds are a bit hard though, but that's normal for Japanese style beds.

I love this Hostel. Small enough to really get to know everyone staying there. We had hot pot dinners and good conversations. Really good time

Perfect place for basing a ski trip in Niseko and the region. Kitchen and nearby supermarket mean you can be independent in terms of cooking your own meals. As other reviews say, the owner is the sweetest guy but also very professional and clearly very passionate about his hostel. He keeps it squeaky clean and running smooth as silk, so don't mess with it! I will be back next season, no question about it.

An excellent place with an excellent host Ryo-san! Everything is very well kept and clean. Another plus points is making friends whilst staying over! Will certainly be back!

Lovely backpackers at the outskirts of town, but still only a short distance from the train station. Big beds and good facilities, especially a large kitchen / seating area. Would want a better mattress and pillow though.
