What a fun and very beautiful park. Went on a sunny day in November and the view was stunning from on top of the castle wall! I highly recommend making a stop if you’re in the area.

Stunning location that’s more than a castle ruin. The museum is great and shares the property. The castle is very well kept and easily accessible. The trail past the promenade has a bat roost (wild and free). Excellent stop for a few hours.

One of the nicer castle ruins. Big open space with sweeping views of the city. The best part is it is free admission. Parking provided. Love the surrounding greenery. Quite peaceful. One can spend hours here.

Beautiful views and greenery. Definitely a relaxing place to chill although there wasn't much to see, just castle walls. I think this place is more for going for a jog, walking your dog, or to take a stroll -- not much of a tourist attraction. The historical text welcoming you has no English translation either so we were clueless as to what makes these castle ruins significant. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Serene and spiritual. The Zakimi ruins are a reminder of Okinawan architectural splendor. Don’t forget to visit the adjacent museum.

really refreshing and calming. there wasn’t that much entertainment, but i felt power here. many people came for a walk with their dogs. it might be a bit dangerous to go up with little kids as there were no guards but you can see the beautiful sight of okinawa.

Such a site and so close to the ocean. Breath taking site with a drone.

It's a really neat place to see. There isn't a lot of signs that explain where things could have been like the other castles. However, the architecture is beautiful, as is the view from the wall. The castle grounds are large, and the hike around is very pretty. Definitely go see the castle if you have time.

Vast. The area is large, you can spend 1~2 hours if you walk around the whole park

The castle ruins are simple and beautiful. There are dozens of parking spaces. Not too many people.

Beautiful and serene place to visit. It was a bit over cast but beautiful views, definitely a place to visit and walk around. Parking on both sides of the park.

Short walk around the forest (wooden walkway is up and down stairs...) And the castle walls were honestly amazing to see! 500 yen for the museum was worth it too

Nice ruin, very well kept. Loads of open space and great place to fly kites. Recommend parking on the back side and walking the long way up.

Wow! Visiting the museum here you really realize what an oppressed culture this is. First occupation by the Japanese and then the US. The castle was neat to see and it was good to get some insight on what’s actually happened here. I would recommend any tourist visit.

120bus easy to go and not much people in week day, good for child, no need to pay tickets in park around

I like the place! You can do trekking or running around the area and one of the best views for sunset. I enjoyed trekking inside the forest and wander around. We were just in time and the able to watch the sunset

Very nice, historical site with a great view over Yomitan. Right next to it is a museum. Great place to just walk and strawl around. Not many food options around so make sure to bring your bento.

We enjoyed the scenery very green, relaxing and cool breeze. I suggest visit the museum first to know the history of ruins and then experience it. There is 500¥ adult entrance fee in the museum. No English translations though but staff are friendly and will let you download the application for the English voiceover (free wifi). There’s also parking spaces at the back of ruins if the front parking are full (go straight then right turn). There are 2 bathrooms too (1 at the parking & 1 near the ruins).

Great place to visit, is where The Jimami Tofu film. Cozy place not much tourists, able to view the far away scenery if you go up to the top of the castle! Love this place so much.
