Small but packed full of culture. Beautiful art and glass work around every corner. We stumbled onto the location by chance, we look forward to trying out the workshops under a more plan excursion.

Tucked out of the way, yet a great learning/shopping experience. DIY your souvenirs. or just buy theirs and enjoy the AC. The architecture feels random, yet very fitting for the ambiance. They have a Blue Seal ice cream shop too! The tiles on everything are impressive!

So cool to see it made. Would have been better if I hadn't gone alone and could speak the language. But got a cool necklace.

If you love glass work, Ryuku Glass Village is definitely worth visiting. Gorgeous works of art made by master craftsman fill the showroom. There’s something for every budget, including an outlet area where the products are 30-50% off the regular price. All the glass is handmade in either Japan or Vietnam (the outlet is mainly Made in Vietnam.) The workshop area is open so you can watch the artists. There’s a fun little game area where you can play two games (spin the wheel and toss the ping pong balls into the glass) and win a product. It’s 500¥ to play and we won a cute heart shaped trinket dish. There’s plenty of parking here and there’s also a Blue Seal out front if you want an ice-cream fix.

There are only 2 glass blowing workshop with limited seats per day, on a first come first serve basis. Other workshops are open throughout the day but pretty overpriced for what it’s worth (¥2000 up for gluing shell pieces on a photo frame etc); would not recommend unless you stay nearby and have some extra time.

Interesting place to walk around and visit. Mainly all about glass making. Some shops and demonstrations and place for kids to get glass experience.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Despite almost closing, there was an area where we were able to see the artisans making beautiful glasswork. The inside of the colorful building is essentially a showroom with quality but pricey products. Signage mainly in Japanese. The surrounding area smells like manure so masks helped.

We really had a blast here. We did several activities during a rainy day and everything was really interesting. The glass blowing was cancelled due to the virus, but it was still fun to be a part of shaping the glass. Afterward, we painted the Shisa guardians. It's really fun, maybe a little expensive.

During Covid times so only the shop was open, but still very cool. Beautiful local artwork, pleasant surroundings and options for light activities while the main events are suspended. Would love to come back when more is available.

This is an incredible complex to visit. It's more than just a store, although there's plenty to buy, from jewelry to all kinds of glassware. It's also an interactive museum of art that shows the history of the craft in Okinawa and teaches visitors how it's done. Beautiful!

It's a bit out of the way but should be ok if you have a car. Lots of glass, cups, bowls, jars, plates, etc for sale. If you're into glassware, this is it for you! However, individually it didn't really impress me. They stated the glass could break if hot liquids were poured into it and is not dishwasher safe. Too delicate for me! Some of the items were made in Vietnam and were clearly marked. You can make your own cup/plate too, but you'll need to reserve a spot. Other activities include gluing pieces of glass onto a frame, or making some jewellery, these activities don't require a reservation.

Must visit places in Naha preference. The place is about making glass cups, plates and other design ornaments etc. We can see the live making of vases and cups. 2 or 3 hours we can spend time in this place.

Amazing artistry in glass making. I wish I had more time to watch the artisans at work. Highly recommend for a unique experience and to purchase hand-made glass items!
