It was tremendous moments in this ryokan,especially with kindness and warm service from host, staffs and even price is very reasonable. Dinner is really great for tasting real local cuisine. And breakfast is traditional japanese home foods and great as well. Room is very clean and tide, host’s explain is good enough to understand how to use facilities. They have 4 bathing rooms( 2 inside, 2 open air ), you can check availability from the tv screen in your room. So no need to book. Pick/Drop service available, you just need to let them know your train ticket schedule. They have train time table, so You just can ask them and will get clear information. Recommend to walk around ryokan, there are many spots and small roads that is good to take a picture. For Onsen, temperature is just good for all, and great to enjoy bath. For questions. You just can ask to host. She’s really really kind. Highly recommended.!

This hotel is operated in a family business, where we could feel the warmth and hospitality from the couple owners during our recent stay. (The lady owner and her daughter speak fluent English and there is no difficulties to communicate). Despite the building is not large, it basically has everything you need. The beef dinner is great and beyond our expectation, when comparing with many other bigger size onsen hotels. This place has 4 onsens, all for private uses. 2 outdoor and 2 indoor. Since the hotel has less than 10 rooms, there is no difficulties for us to try all the onsens (best for onsen lovers). Will sure return again!

though i’m Japanese it was the best Ryukan i’ve ever stayed in Japan. absolutely incredible service and nice staff. it was run by a family and they were so welcoming. It’s about 20 minutes drive away from Yufuin and the area was so calm and quiet. More than anything the private 4 Onsens they had offered us amazing time. You should definitely keep your stomach empty for the dinner. Thank you so much for the night.

Very homely and a very warm welcome. Food was plentiful and excellent. Staff were helpful, friendly and kind. WiFi is also relatively fast. Overall, wonderful experience.

I've been there on 8 of June, they are so friendly, their service is surprisingly good for me, and also love their meal & hot spring so much too! Five star recommend for everyone who would like to stay at Yufuin! Wonderful experience!!!

The lady owner is very friendly, helpful and very patience in explaining how to wear the Yukata and how to check the availability of the onsen from the TV in your own room. The dinner which is traditional Japanese style is served in your room and has lots of foods. The room is quite cosy and quiet, just nice for 2 pax.

best ryokan in Fukuoka. It took 4 years to visit this beautiful ryokan again due to corona virus. not only the ryokan is beautiful itself, but also the people in this ryokan. this place makes good memories to every single visit. I was pretty late because of missing flight, and missing train. but master waited for me and offered dinner. How touching he waited about 30 minutes even though I told them to arrive 30 minutes ahead. I called them by payphone, I could not have chance to tell them that I would be late. but they just waited till I would be at the Yonohira station and to have delicious dinner. I want to thank them sincerely. they are running best ryokan!

This ryokan is perfect! The baths are amazing, the food was phenomenal, the room was spacious and extremely cozy and our hosts couldn’t have been kinder/more helpful! We had a great and relaxing time in our 3 nights here. We were able to communicate about things around town and such in English, which was very convenient. Pro tip - get the buckwheat or rice ice cream from the tourist center! Thank you for the amazing stay!

This ryokan is one of the best value ryokans that we have ever stayed in. Location is a little off the beaten track but the host has a shuttle service to bring you from the closest station. There are 4 onsens, each can be individually reserved. The onsens were all well maintained and private. The room was clean and comfortable. But the best things about this ryokan are the most gracious and friendly hosts, as well as the awesome dinner and breakfast. Old style home cooked food that can match 5 star restaurants.
