Today I joined a friend who was having a coffee at Café Veloce in Shibuya. I was just waiting for him to finish so we could have lunch in a nearby restaurant. To be honest, I would rather wait outside, because the place stunk of cigarettes, but my friend was having a coffee, so I sat down. A waitress came to tell me I couldn't sit down unless I bought something. 本当に失礼でした！The place was almost empty!!! There was absolutely no need for that employee to be so rude. I hope this old-fashioned, unhealthy and unwelcoming establishment will close soon.

Coffee was ok as well as desserts. Although place feels really bad lot of people and heavily crowded. Some of guests behave really loud. What I would recommend is to grab takeaway coffee and leave. For a plus is free WiFi if you are tourist.

Handy location for a break, but can be very busy. Fast service, but very popular & too many smoking seats, plus no door separating the non-smoking section, shame.

Good Japanese style cafe for reasonable coffee and treats

Lots of seating space (separated smoking and non-smoking) however there is not a great selection of drinks or snacks to eat. About 30% of clientele on one Thursday afternoon were salary men taking naps.

Standard, no fuss. Good WiFi for free. Plenty of seating

It is nice place and quiet and nice classic music

Staff friendly, menu is easy to read for non-japenese tourist, lots of seats and good value

Same experience as many, I purchased a drink, friend did not, they were kicked out. Drinks may be ok but the service is terrible.
