The inside of the store is so quiet that it belies the hustle and bustle of Kichijoji. Old-fashioned nostalgic stationery, humorous, and cute stationery are displayed tastefully and in a balanced manner. I can feel the love in each and every product. When I visited, the Michihiro Hori Fair was being held, with pop-up sales of original goods, books, manga, and more.

Spend lots of time here. So many cute little thing!! They also have their own stationery too! I like the Kichijoji elephant and stationery pattern very much! You will be surprised how much time passed when you come out this store.

Sublo 36 is a small but high quality stationery shop in Kichijoji, it is worth persisting to find it, look for the green 36 sign up in the first floor window. They have a very beautiful range of stationery. It is only 300m or 3 minute walk up the main road from the train station. Also visit Avril for yarn nearby.

Just a heads-up for anyone who can't find it, it's on the second floor of a small building roughly where Maps says it is, look for the large '36' in the window. There's also a little ground sign to look for but you might miss it if you're coming from the station. Great little stationery place in Kichijoji. Theres quite a lot packed into the store, classic stationery, patches, keychains, accessories, etc. There's some great original stuff there as well as some cross-pollination with other stationery brands from Tokyo(gekko-so for instance). There's some nice pins too, some vintage and others from independent artists, if you're into that as well.

I always stop by when I go to Kichijoji. All cute stickers and stamps. My favorite shop. And the store where I always buy a lot.

A small stationery shop located on the 2nd floor of a small building. Not easy to find. You will not be able to control to buy the small and interesting stuff.

A small privately-owned stationery store, hidden up some stairs in Kichijoji. A lot of really fun, unique items. The vintage stationery (folders, pencils, etc) are really interesting. Also some locally designed stuff! Definitely worth checking out.
