We went there for eel and that’s all we got. It’s also all they serve. We ordered it under different names but they were all eel on rice with a small soup and a tiny salad (we believe it was salad but didn’t try it) The eel was good but the portion was smaller then we thought. The place is small but nice- you may have to wait for a table. We waited 30 min on a Friday evening. We had beer but you have a selection of sake and wine to choose from. For the three of us it cost about $84, medium and small boxes, and the bowl version. I recommend it but keep in mind all the above “small” parts.

Incredible service, Unagi (eels) were great, the medium dish was enough for me and my wife. Prices were reasonable :)

The Eel was good. Smoke and juicy. But I wouldn’t wait 2 hours for it. My bad luck heard it was unagi eating season.

Came here to satisfy a crave that i developed in Nagoya. Reservations are strongly recommended! Food was good and the smell was so nice. But of course Nagoya one that i tried was even better. 3.5/5!

Famous unagi restaurant in Hiroshima. For a Tuesday lunch time waiting time was 30-50minutes. Worth the wait. All very fresh and tasty. Has English menu. Waiter speaks skosi English. And helpful.

Excellent food and service. The restaurant is modern, clean and spacious, with plenty of room around the tables. We had the lunch menu which was excellent value for money. The staff brought an English for us and made helpful suggestions. The food was outstanding, the eel melted in your mouth and the rice and sides were fresh and well made. Absolutely recommended for unagidon in the area.

Juicy and crispy eels, overall a delicious dish. It's a bit expensive but it's also pretty affordable for such a meal. It might have been a very lucky day, but I didn't need to wait at all and could sit instantly. The store is apparently very popular so it might be better to reserve or come early.

I did a curb-side takeout. The unagi comes in a fancy box and tastes great. Even though a bit pricy, the quality is worth it. Amazingly good!

The unagi was awesome,I order the small size one was the rice serving was quite big. So order the rice bowl for lesser rice, the deep fried eel bone was interesting, but better if paired with beer or alcohol. The liver wasn't great(parts of it was bitter) , however worth the try if it's your first time. The egg(tamago) with eel was amazing, worth the money
