Very nice place to stay, the hosts are lovely. They were so kind, they showed on explained everything we needed. I definitely recommend this place. It's old and traditional japan style house, we even had a balcony with the view on the Fuji mountain. In the morning the host took us to see Mr Fuji by car. We stopped at a small station and had time to take pictures and buy some souvenirs. It was just perfect. Adresse à garder

Our hosts graciously took us in on last-minute notice, saved me a lot of money on overnight parking, made us feel at home in their hostel, and sat us down to give us all the information we needed to take on Mt. Fuji the next day. I would certainly stay here again if I were in the area. We appreciated your hospitality!

Stayed here a while back, great (English speaking) host. Rooms are dorm style, with huge beds and privacy curtains. Shower was clean, as was the rest of the house. Ear plugs provided in cost. Would recommend for a short stay.

Very comfortable and cozy Japanese-style room! The owner of the guest house accepted my request for a room one day before my arrival and even speaks English. He was very kind and welcoming to me. Staying in this guest house is very affordable and everything you need to know is written in both Japanese and English. Mr. Kageyama even gives an early-bird tour through the town, so you can see the sunrise over Mt. Fuji and shiraito no taki, a very beautiful waterfall group. Check this place out if you want to visit Fujinomiya!

Small and very cozy hostel. Rooms have very much space and were comfortable. The staff informed us about everthing we can do around the town. But what i liked most is that the owner of this hostel offered us a free ride to the 5th station of the Mt. Fuji! Just ask the staff about it when you arrive here. Really enjoyed my stay... 5/7 would go again

Very friendly and helpful host. Really enjoyed our stay here. Wish we stayed longer. Rooms were tidy, clean and spacious. It is also more traditional, which was really cool to experience. You can have a private room or stay in a dormitory type of room. Design and interior were updated and cosy. There are a lot of manga that you can read (provided you can read in Japanese), movies (with English subtitles) you can watch. In the kitchen you can help yourself to coffee or tea, and make use of the equipment to make your own food. There is also a washing machine. Disposable tootbrushes, body wash, conditioner and shampoo is provided. There is also slippers you can use for the duration of your stay.

Cute little guesthouse with a very passionate owner. There's everything you need and more, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highlights include close proximity to shrine, great view towards fuji, and, by far, the trip the owner took us on in the morning.

Good location next to the station and nice staff. The owner helped us check the bus schedule and the Mt Fuji weather. The rooms are traditional and comfortable, everything is very clean!

The location is perfect, right next to the station and a 7/11. The host was so kind and helpful when suggesting places to eat and go in the area. We ended up taking a day trip to Shuzenji (onsen town) and it was such a beautiful little town! He also cooks great yakisoba and has the cutest dog that will greet you happily whenever you come home. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Fujinomiya.

Rustical hostel with excellent personal service It was a great experience to stay there and I really liked the friendly, personal check in with many many local tips and maps (in english!). The owner and the staff are there to answer every question, they prepared mangas, cards and films. They even offered a car ride to lake Takuni to see the sun rise (we couldnt in the end because of the rain)
