In Yokohama Chinatown, Manchinrō. I like this restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere and welcomes customers from single to a party. Their negi soba (long onion noodles) is very delicious. So us everything else!

This is a long-established fine Chinese restaurant located in Yokohama's Motomachi and Chinatown area. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and the decor and furnishings are carefully selected. The dishes served here range from the classic to the unusual using high-end ingredients, all of which are made with the finest ingredients and are refined and full of flavor.🥟🍜 I love their fried noodles with starchy sauce.✨✨ I highly recommend everyone to try their authentic Chinese cuisine.👍

I am absolutely thrilled to write this glowing 5-star review for Manchinro Cantonese restaurant in Yokohama's vibrant Chinatown. Our party of 10 recently had the pleasure of indulging in their seven-course menu, and I can confidently say that it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. First and foremost, the food at Manchinro was an absolute delight. Each course was a masterpiece of Cantonese cuisine, expertly prepared with exceptional attention to detail. From the savory and perfectly steamed dim sum to the aromatic and flavorful main dishes, every bite was a taste sensation. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and the flavors were a true celebration of Cantonese cooking techniques. Each course was thoughtfully presented, showcasing the culinary expertise and passion of the chefs at Manchinro. It was an incredible culinary journey that left our taste buds dancing with joy. Equally impressive was the service we received at Manchinro. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely accommodating to our party's needs. Despite the large size of our group, the waitstaff flawlessly handled every aspect of our dining experience. From the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant until the moment we left, we were treated with warmth and professionalism. The staff provided detailed explanations of each course, ensuring that we fully understood and appreciated the flavors and traditions behind each dish. The level of service was truly exceptional and enhanced our overall dining experience. Manchinro's location in Yokohama's Chinatown only added to the charm and authenticity of our dining experience. With its vibrant atmosphere and bustling streets, it truly felt like we were transported to a different world. The restaurant itself had a beautifully designed interior that exuded a sense of elegance and sophistication. The ambiance was warm and inviting, providing the perfect setting for our celebration. In summary, Manchinro Cantonese restaurant in Yokohama's Chinatown is an absolute gem that deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. From the incredible food that celebrates the rich flavors of Cantonese cuisine to the impeccable service that made us feel like honored guests, every aspect of our dining experience was truly exceptional. Whether you are a lover of Cantonese cuisine, celebrating a special occasion, or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Manchinro is the perfect choice. Prepare to be amazed by the exquisite flavors, outstanding service, and authentic atmosphere. I will absolutely dine at Manchinro again if I find myself in Yokohama.

We visited the two highest rated Cantonese restaurants in Chinatown today. One for lunch and this one for dinner. While our dinner experience was not nearly as good as lunch, this restaurant stands on its own as a good dining option. The restaurant’s first floor dining room is ornate and we were able to enjoy live music while we ate. Service was good, but not friendly. Prices were high, but portions were large. We left happy we tried it, but deciding that we probably wouldn’t be back.

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. Only waited 5 minutes for a seat on Sunday afternoon. Waiters were friendly and attentive. As others have mentioned, the only downside was the price. Didn’t quite feel like it was worth the money, but I would go back and tell others for try it.

Very delicious food and the lunch menu is really reasonable. Not the cheapest place if you go ala carte but again food is great. Shop atmosphere is really nice too and the bathroom is just like those in a 5 star hotel. Highly recommended restaurant.

The pork bun has a flavorful umami pork filling while the bun is soft and fluffy and has a great scent of the flour. Pretty good but I think 華正楼 pork bun is packed with more umami flavor and better taste to it. Tried their Sesame Bun and I am glad I did, Bun was fluffy but lacks the fragrant flour taste, however the sesame filling was packed full of aromatic sesame flavor dancing in my mouth while the stickiness of sesame lingers on my tongue. Fantastic. Sesame bun from Edosei only has some hint of sesame flavor, not tasty. Manchirou has the best Sesame Bun in Yokohama Chinatown!

I've heard of them turning away some foreigners, so maybe use a bit of Japanese (or Cantonese) to get in. Authentic Cantonese cuisine with a lot of the "weirder" dishes that you might not find at the more diner-like restaurants around Chinatown. They have several course meals that range from normal priced to exuberant, as well as an a la carte menu. Extremely nice interior, live music. If you have relatives from Hong Kong visiting or just want a really Cantonese restaurant, would definitely recommend.

Visited here for Chinese New Year eve dinner. Excellent interior. Service is top notch and the food was really good too. Probably one of the better restaurants in Chinatown. They have a good range of good quality tea as well. Highly recommended.

Service was great and food was really good. Nothing super amazing but solid Cantonese food. Would recommend if you’re in the area to give it a try

Luxury Cantonese dining inside the China town. Very good food and prices are clear on the menu. They have musical show for dinner. Wide range of Chinese food and traditional Cantonese wines.

It seems very pricey but the portions are super big so it’s enough to order just one main dish and share it. The food was delicious but nothing special

Let's tell the good part first, great ambience. This is how I imaging a up scale Chinese restaurant should look like. That’s about it. Now the bad part, maybe this is how the Japanese would like Chinese dishes to taste. But as a person been in many cities of mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan many time. The food they served was definitely on the bottom part of the scale. Just greasy as hell. It's not even editable. Just really disappointed. Not recommended to any person that has Chinese background.

This restaurant might look small from the outside but in reality it is massive. There are three levels with massive spaces in each of them. They have private dining rooms and function rooms upstairs. In my opinion although they serve Chinese food it has been modified to suit Japanese flavour profiles. It's less salty and on some occasion have different take to the dish. It is still cooked really well like for example the tripe was soft, the crispy noodle is salty and sweet and the asparagus still crunchy and garlicky. A little over priced though. Food - 8 Service - 10 Vibe - 10 Price - $$$$$

Very delicious and fancy Chinese food. The inside of the restaurant is huge. We showed up at 1pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. The portions are very large even when ordering the small portion. Order a few dishes and share with everyone at the table!

👍👍 Loved it! The noodle's thickness, broth consistency can be adjusted. I really liked the fried garlic topping. You can choose from other toppings too. There's a fast moving (sometimes you will have to wait) queue. I believe it's like a famous shop there.
