Hi I would like to talk with the manager. An elder staff member waitress gave my spouse and I disrespect. We have came here two times and the the food isn’t authentic Greek food. Over rated. Very poor generic quality. My Grandma is from Greece and she makes authentic Greek food, this is generic overrated, overpriced Greek food.plus…The menu is mis spelled. The elderly lady server really needs to change her negative attitude. She thought we were foreigners, but we are Japanese. She kept ignoring us when we were in our seat, then she wanted us to sit a in a different seat. Is this really how your restaurant style is? Really?! It’s disgusting. Plus the bathroom. Cockroaches, No toilet paper. Eww, elderly waitress was super disrespectful, giving a negative feeling, forcing us to move to another seat and gross without gloves, forsake she tried to force us to move, dictating that my spouse and I was sitting next to each other. Please don’t have waitresses dictate how people sit. That’s very, very, very cruel, rude and disrespectful during romantic meal time.PERIOD. ^+^

A little pricey, but if you want some authentic Greek food, this place is great! The former owner was a Greek seaman, and the recipes are from his family. They serve a good selection of wines, beers and other Greek drinks. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommended!

This restaurant was just okay for me and my dining companions. The food was delicious, but the service was inconsistent and our dishes were served in a very odd order. The staff was accommodating but disorganized. It was easy to find this place though. Perhaps this restaurant is better enjoyed at lunch rather than dinner.

Authentic Greek restaurant; great food at a very reasonable cost specially the set lunch menu. Course menu is also great specially when you are very hungry. Great wine selection too. Credit card not accepted lunch time.

Amazing Greek restaurant 🇬🇷 This is the real taste of Greek food ! Retsina is good, tzatziki and fried cheese are awesome, the meatball with lemon sauce taste so good 🍋 The best to end the dinner is the baklava 🍯 Service is okay 👍🏼 it’s not cheap, but quality is here !

Greek specialties are well-prepared and hearty. I have visited this restaurant multiple times as the food is soul-nourishing and satisfying. Whether salad, marinated, or fried fish/seafood, they all come with generous amounts of olive oil, lemon, and oregano/parsley. Fried calamari and octopus are tender and juicy, with a slight crisp on the outside from flour coating served with scordalia (creamy and tangy(sh) garlic/lemon/salt paste). Grilled fish with tomato sauce and herb coating in olive oil is soft and bursting with umami flavors. Their baguette comes hot, crispy, and airy. Order one, you will need it to balance the flavors and enjoy the olive oil in dishes. If you want meat-oriented meals, they have lamb, beef, and chicken dishes, either stewed or fried. The selection of vines is excellent. They also serve legit Greek coffee and baklava. The ladies working there are friendly, cool, and welcoming. The restaurant gives Greek taverna vibes. Great value for the price!

It’s a good GREEK restaurant in Kannai Yokohama, nice design inside, delicious foods and the owner was good and friendly…. for me, it’s too expensive but the foods are delicious 😋

I ate here with a bunch of friends last night. I’m giving this three stars because the food was good, and the wait staff was very friendly. A few orders got mixed up, but no big deal. The manager woman, however, was very cold toward our group. Also, when it came time to pay the bill, everything was just listed as “Food xx¥” but nothing was itemized, so it was hard to check whether everything we ate had been properly billed (we were checking this because of the aforementioned order mix-ups). In the middle of our bill was a mysterious ¥10002 charge. Nothing on the menu was that price. So we asked to have the bill looked at, and it was explained to be a mistake and removed. BUT how do you mistakenly add that much money? If we hadn’t checked and just split the bill, we would have totally been ripped off. So, check your receipt. Also, I have no idea why it says “Great Cocktails” when you look at it on Google Maps.

Japan's oldest Greek restaurant (1953). The apprentice of the original owner, who was Greek, still cooks the original recipes. Delicious. Last time I was there was in the 1970s. Went back last week and the food was still the real thing.

Came here with my husband and baby since I was really craving Greek. Extremely Greek authentic taste in Japan. The grape leaves really reminded me of home. The tzatziki dip and bread was the biggest hit at my table and was very delicious even for my son. My only regret is I wish we saved enough room for baklava!

Food is authentic for sure. However the amount of olive oil in my Greek salad is so enormous..... Food is good and service is reasonable

An old authentic greek restaurant that serves traditional dishes. Tastes good but a little pricey considering the quality as others say. Currently during the state of emergency (=lockdown-ish situation that prohibits the alcohol in restaurants), it wasn’t such a great experience - continue eating dishes made me feel a bit too salty. Glasses of wine for sure resolves it (or I should have ordered some beverages instead of just having water).

Wonderful dinner last night at Sparta. Superb & authentic Greek food. We ordered the mixed plate appetiser, extra tzatziki dip with fresh bread, a large moussaka, octopus krassato & marinated lamb chops. All the dishes were super fresh & delicious. The lady serving us was very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be returning here again in the future. Highly recommend.
