青森県津軽地方の秘境で世界遺産に登録されてる白神山地内にある暗門の滝は大きな滝が三つありとても見ごたえがあります。初秋に行と小さな蝶の大群がまるで桜吹雪のように見えて幻想的です。

Beautiful, verdant forest area with a number of waterfalls. It's a pretty easy walk and makes for a good day trip from Hirosaki. The autumn foliage was pretty good when I went in October.
