As far as I know, this is the best bar in the world. Master's' are(they are married couple) very friendly and passionate. Their english is not very fluent but they tries their best to communicate with foreign customers, as well as regular customers. Cocktails are really delicious and master's skill and ideas are amazing. You must try all the signature cocktails here. The price range is about 1000-1200¥(about 10$) per each cocktail, which is reasonable. Also, cover charge is free for tourists. They used basil, salary, cucumber, bacon infused spiruts and various fresh fruit to make unique cocktails. Also, they used home made syrup and bitters too. If you came to kyoto, you must visit this place.

My partner and I had three excellent cocktails at very reasonable prices. We tried the basil rum, ginger syrup vodka and a cucumber and olive gin and tonic which were each delicious (my favourite was the ginger syrup). The bartender was also great - he was accommodating to the lack of English we spoke (he speaks great English) and was very interested in our travels so far. This is one of the best bars I have ever been to and I look forward to being back in Kyoto again for another drink at Nony’s.

All the reviews are true. The nicest bartender with the most creative cocktails. It’s not just gin and tonic, it’s Campari caviar gin and tonic. And the nitrogen cocktails are awesome...

If I could give 10 stars I would! Not only were the drinks unique and delicious but the bar tender was incredible. His wife and daughter were there as well and were super friendly. He was funny, spoke enough English to understand each other, and was basically a mad scientist. You tell him the drink and base flavor you want and he creates the rest...including using liquid nitrogen in some of his drinks which resulted in basically a spiked dessert rather than a drink. The night also included complementary smoked cheese and sausage as well as Japanese chocolates. If you’re in Kyoto, even for just the day, you should definitely swing by Nony’s!

His cocktails are imaginative. You can have a cocktail made to suit your mood that day. It's a cozy place that makes you want to go again and again.

If you are in Kyoto, you have to go to Nonys. It's the best bar with the best cocktails and the best bartender in Kyoto. The bar is in the 3rd floor of the building. You get cocktails made of fresh fruits like pear, grapes, watermelon and a lot more. The bartender is such a friendly guy, who's definitely knows his craft. He's mixing the drinks with so much passion and he produces his own flavoured alcohol like gin with cucumber and olives.

Delicious fruit cocktails with a great small atmosphere and a friendly crowd. The owner knows his stuff and is proud to show what he's crafted. Definitely would come back or recommend it to someone visiting the area!

Amazing bar in Kyoto! Cocktails made with fresh fruit and the owner Masa even makes his own celery bitters for drinks. Masa is so friendly and makes delicious drinks and all the locals that visit are also super friendly - recommend to anyone in Kyoto. Immaculate vibes!

A must try if you are in the area! The owner is such a master of the craft and knows how to mix complex flavors into delicious drinks. Probably some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in my life and for a cheap and reasonable price. It was so great chatting with him as well as he knows a good amount of conversational English. So happy to have found this joint and hope others visit as well in the future. Kyoto’s hidden gem! Located on the third floor of the corner building.

Very friendly! Amazing drinks made fresh with fruits you can taste. Owner spoke great English and was so nice to us. Highly reccomend going and trying at least one drink if you can. Foreigner friendly. Cozy. Relaxed. English speaking.

Honestly the most delicious and well crafted cocktails I’ve ever had. I’ve been to bars across the globe, and the care and expertise this man has is world class. Also he is incredibly friendly and kind. Please check this place out. It won’t disappoint.
