My first experience with kaiten sushi on Japan. Reading the reviews on Google, there were a mixed review about the place. But I was very pleased with service and the food. They have a menu in english. With almost no japanese I was able to enjoy a good lunch. Since it seems to frequented often by locals, depending on the time you can face some lines.

Stumbled across this small rotating sushi bar, and it put a smile on my face the rest of the day. The chef kept adding fresh sushi even though I was the only one there. Everything was delicious. There is an English menu.

The food here was good, comparable to what you get in other conveyor belt sushi restaurants in Japan. But since a lot of people were ordering straight with the servers, not a lot was coming on the conveyor belt (mostly tofu and miso-shiro). Once we caught on to the fact that we needed to make a personalized order, it was fine. Important to note: cash only!

Great time! We got in and had fun watching the conveyor belt of food and trying to figure out what was each plate. If you didn’t see what you liked you could just order from the lady who was quick and prompt. Met a fun a family from the Netherlands that was fun to converse with about our Japan trip.

This is honestly one of the best sushi I've ever had in my life, and quite possibly, in my very subjective opinion, the best sushi in Japan. The fish is incredibly fresh and juicy, and the portions are extremely generous considering how cheap it is. Highly recommended! Please don't miss out!

Loved how personnel this little shop was. Wanted to try a smaller kaiten sushi place, and this was great. Loved the hot water tap. As much hot tea as you want.. and awesome choices of sushi. Thanks for the fun experience!

Everyone was so friendly, and it was incredibly delicious and good value for money. Plus it's really cozy and it feels homey, really nice after a day of touristing around.

Wow! So cheap, while being extremely high quality. Definitely track this place down when in Kyoto.

Good sushi. I went at an odd time (4pm on a weekday) and didn’t have to wait for a seat. There were things on the conveyor belt, but I was also able to order from the menu. They had an English menu with clear photos so that was really helpful. I probably ate too much. I would definitely recommend this place.

The older couple running the place didn't speak any English but we were able to figure each other out. Great value. Easy pricing guide on the wall as well as on the printed menu with full color pictures. Just grab what you want off the conveyor or order whatever you want from the menu. We highly recommend this place. The Eel was tasty and a much better value than many places that we've tried it in town.

Food is very worthy of a visit! the waiter and the chef are not young but very patient and warm-hearted. Food is very good especially the chawanmushi. Please make order directly from menu as chef won't put those more than ¥600 plate on the ' traveling belt'.

Great fresh, conveyor belt sushi! Employees were cheerful and happy to help as well. They do have an English menu!

Price from ¥130-440. Delicious food. Friendly staff. 👍🏻

It was inexpensive. It was also good. It was better than the prices you'd pay in the states for the same quantity of food. It was not the best sushi ever. Not the best in Kyoto or Japan. Worth a trip if you're nearby looking for food but not worth going out of your way to find.

Delicious and very reasonable kaiten-zushi; there's a choice off the menu as well. We had some chutoro, which was delicious, even though they apologised for it having been refrigerated. The staff speak limited English, but are friendly and helpful.

A conveyor belt sushi restaurant that was pretty average considering the great sushi we had during our time in Japan! The fish didn't feel too fresh but there was a lot of locals there when we went so maybe we missed a trick! Reasonably priced, starting from 100 yen per plate and you can also order off the menu as well as taking sushi off the conveyor belt

Easy quick eats. Love the tea at each station. Decently priced and you don’t need to speak Japanese to order. I’d recommend if you’re on this part of town

Everything we ordered from the ¥140 and ¥150 options were delicious. A bit pricier from the usual kaitenzushi chains but also a lot tastier. オオキニ。

👍👍 I went there for the children section and it was very nice. They have a good soft playground for babies/toddlers and my son had a nice time there. In the parents room you can give food, clean and take care of your child, but also weith and measure him. This so convenient.
