soooo good and really well priced! was pretty quiet when we went there for dinner too, and food was served fast. only downside is that you have to order from a machine (only in japanese), and if you take too long, your order resets.

Roast Beef Bowl was not as good as expected. Taste got a bit stale after eating half a bowl of meat. There was a short queue when I arrived.

So far so good, the beef was too raw, kimchi taste was too strong made me cannot taste the grilled beef well. Not sure if I can select the degree of the beef doneness or not, as the beef rice bowl served with slices of beef instead of beef steak, I would suggest medium or medium well.

I have been their customers for more than ten times over the past 3 years. The quality of the food is getting worst each time I visited. The beef was cooked so raw. The sauce was too salty and the service is getting worst as well. This may well be my last time to try......

First of all 1250 for a large beef steak bowl is a good price. However, the meat was very raw which is ok in general but it was very chewy in quality. The rice was soaked in a too salty sauce which destroyed the taste a bit. Overall its ok for a meal but i wouldn't come back nor come here or recommend it to a friend. There should be better places here for a similar price i bet. It looks good on a picture though...

Delicious! I got the large plate it was around 3900 yen. It was abit expensive but it was alot of meat. Enjoyed every bite! Definitely go here if you love beef. Would recommend! You order outside through a machine and you come in pass your tickets to the waiter. Then you get seated and wait for your food.

Solid steak bowl. Got the cut steak regular size with sunny side up egg. The sauce in the rice isn't that unique. Tastes very similar to what you get at Waba grill in USA. I wouldn't go here if you're trying to get the most of Kyoto but it's a great option if you craving beef

Yummy. Moist and very flavourful. My fiancé and I liked the stamina don more than the roast beef bowl, but that was still a good 4.5 solid. Worth the wait.

Order through the kiosk just outside the door. Then proceed inside. When busy, there may be a queue. This place is basically variations of really nice beef and rice in typical Japanese set meals. A lot of the dishes are quite raw; for those who do not like rare and medium rare beef, it is best to pass. For those of us who love the taste of premium beef, this place is great.

It was an easy, accessible, filling food(donburi). Roast beef was tender and juicy. Parts of the steak was a little chewy for children, but overall good place for a quick food.

2020/12 This restaurant is very convenient in the downtown area. Purchase a meal ticket for the menu you want to eat at the automatic ticket vending machine at the entrance before entering the store. The operation of the automatic ticket vending machine is easy because there are images. We had a cheap and delicious meal.

The food was really good and very filling! It's. Ash only so make sure you have cash. Buy your tickets outside and food came very quickly after that. Would definitely recommend.

The Donburi was tasty. You can add different toppings to your liking. The service was fast. The restaurant itself is a little bit dark, but probably due to the "pub"-athmosphere they want to create through the dark wood. Since it is a lot of meat it is a little bit more pricey than any other dishes.

A difficult to rate place. On one hand the roast beef bowl had good sauce and the meat was suitable for the price point. On the other hand it is mostly rice and reasonably small. Also someelse else had the American steak bowl and their meat was tough and full of large pieces of grizzle and fat. Certain parts would have had to be swallowed whole as they could not be chewed normally. Would not come again but it wasnt a complete waste.

The queues at peak eating times are quite long, but they seem to move quickly. Go a little off-peak. The roast beef is very tender and has a great taste with no smell, it reminds me of some prime rib cut in Hawaii. The large bowl is really large. I ended up trading some beef for some rice with my partner...

Best high-quality beef-bowl that I’ve ever tried !! They have many variants dishes to choose. Including American-beef-bowl and Japanese-Kobe-beef-bowl Excellent flavor with delicious special sauce and roasted beef. Would try eating out Kobe-beef-bowl next time because it’s quite expensive to students like me. The best beef bowl with medium rare beef style. With rare egg yolk and yoghurt sauce. With Japanese rice the combination is just amazing. Beef is tender and juicy. So yummy. The only downside is their place is so small it only has 9 small table only.
