I really liked this trip, especially the staff was nice and the food was really good too. The best part was the boat ride as it showed the beautiful parts of the lake and it is fast which is awsome!!

I went to Towada Lake with my friends, and we were staying at a hostel that gave us a big amount of discount on this ride. I'm very glad we took the offer, it was very fun taking the lake tour at a super high speed ride with Guriland. They assure you that you will not get wet, but they will lend you a rain poncho and a safety vest. You can take your camera while riding the boat, however, it will go super fast so take pictures at your own risk :) . They will stop occasionally and explain the story of some spots though. Recommended! 最高！

The experience of taking the military-use inflatable boat is quite exciting! The sailing speed is awesome and there are some mysterious spots that you can reach only by the boat or water motorcycles. The weather was not good but I still feel amazed by the view.

Be careful! This company has a record of breaking a lady’s bone by lacking driving skills. The tour itself was fun, my friends and I took so many pictures of nice scenery. It is worth paying 5000yen for 50 minutes tour. I would strongly recommend it even if you risk your bones in this case. However, I just wish I hadn't found the official paper of that accident record by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism. I was horrified when I read it. Luckily, we came back without injuries this time, but everybody, please give it a second thought if you want to choose the company!

I was lost on my way to my hôtel and, with no solution but to walk 10 km to go back home and we bumped into each others. Very kindly he called my hotel and waited for my being picked up. Was a lucky encounter for it allowed me to discover Guriland. I was contemplating doing the cruise on the ferry and it would not have been so great. On this boat we went in little creeks allowing us to see flacons ducks and squirrels. If you speak some japanese you will even have the occasion to grasp some new words, and, if you are fluent, some pieces of knowledge. It is the best way to see the lake !

Beautiful mountains and lake. We had a bilingual translator that pointed out certain parts of the tour in English for us.

The best boat tours are very fun! surprised.

The boat tour is fully in Japanese so you'll need some level of understanding to appreciate all the explanations about the history of the lake, including its formation, nature and geology. With good weather it's a beautiful place to visit, however the boat ride is quite short. If you'd like to spend more time there you might want to consider other tours.

We did the boat and canoe tour in October and the views were incredible! Never seen an entire lake surrounded by foliage like this before. We made a mistake on the reservation and they were able to accommodate us last minute as well. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Our captain and tour guide on the speedboat made this an experience to remember! He would fishtail occasionally to get the riders excited. Our daughter screamed and giggled a good bit! Our grandson, not so much.. but eve he relaxed by the end. The captain was extremely knowledgeable about the lake, and took us several amazing locations. I do not feel it would be good to spoil those, but it was well worth the money spent!

They only speak Japanese but they can take you to the middle of the lake and to a restricted area. The view of towako-lake is breathtaking. Please do go even if you don’t speak Japanese.

First time ever on an inflatable boat, I were so excited every time the helmsman making turns at the speed of light ^^. The sceneries were not as beautiful as those pictures in the Travel guidebook (probably Autumn season) but still amazing since the boat can get closer to the lakeshore and cliffs. The boat was stopped at the attraction points so you can take pictures and enjoy the moment. Conclusion: It is a must-do experience if you travel to lake Towada area. I will travel to this area in Autumn season, and definitely do this inflatable boat tour again.

We did a combination rib boat then paddled canoes around part of the protected part of the lake, which is only accessible from the water. It is an area sacred to the Ainu people. The guides were lovely, one spoke English and had just been to Australia! Note that you will climb into the canoes on the water from the rib boat, but the guides are great at making it easy to clamber between them.
