Great hotel, attentive staff. Enjoyed the onsen bath in the hotel after skiing. Everything very organised and convenient for the skier. Only annoying point was the bar opens late (8pm), would be nice to have a drink before dinner. Naspa ski field might be a bit limiting for the advanced skier. Ok for one day but they provide a free bus service to Gala Yuzawa where you can get a three connected resort pass for more challenging skiing. Kandatsu ski field is close by and an easy free bus from the station as well and has a good variety of sloopes. Easy 1hour 15 min Shinkansen trip from Tokyo.

This place is unreal, not in a good way. Be careful, don’t go to the toilet, it will cost 500yen. They charge high prices and for everything. It would be different if the resort was in great condition, but its not. I think this might have been a normal, new and trendy place in the 80’s but best thing is could do now is close their doors. If i was here to hangout in the room and not leave i might rate it higher (2-stars). So recently i was in Nagano, Prince hotel 100000000 times better all around. They skiing here is blah too, half is closed due to i don’t care, so the line for the most basic ride is a long wait. I really regret coming here.

Spacious room and good customer service. Also like the fact that the hotel stress care for the environment in the room cleaning options. The hotel is clean but the decor is a little dated. Buffet breakfast was fine with wide variety of food but quality of western breakfast food was below what I would expect for this quality of hotel.

Apart from the bad experience bus shuttle pickup from Echigo Yuzawa Station which they have changed from their timetable. (Last bus shuttle changed to 6.40pm Japan Time without notified, based on their website timetable they have it every single 30 mins till 10.00pm if not mistaken). We weren't informed but standing outside with my two kids freezing and it was snowing quite heavily that time until we asked one of the other resort driver which they have made a couple of return to pick up their guest from the station and to help us to call to Naspa reception and only to find out their last shuttle bus ended at 6.40pm. We had no choice but to take a taxi over. We waited from 7.00pm to 7.40pm outside which was really cold. Other than that, once we reached the hotel everything was well planned and gave us an extra 2 hours late checkout the following day.

Great experience on our first visit to a ski resort. Great facilities and extremely friendly staffs. Fairly easy to pick up skiing on the hills.

I believe that this hotel might have better reviews from me if I were to visit during winter. Stayed 1 night in this hotel and I believe it is their low peak season, hence, not much going on. The room is a little old with very old school type of furnishing, however, I must say that the room is rather spacious, same goes for the bathroom. Besides the onsen, there is nothing much to do. The hotel has a convenience store inside as the nearest convenience store is about 2km away. Coin-laundry is also provided for guests. I believe there are better hotels in the same vicinity.

Easy check in and check out. Shuttle bus to the train station goes about every 30-60 minutes. Walk to the train station takes about 25 minutes but it is uphill going from the train station back to the hotel. Room and bed were comfortable and big. Would definitely stay again.

One of the worst located hotels I've ever stayed at. Had to walk 30 minutes I'm pitch black to get to the station. There is a shuttle bus but I wasn't able to see where it stopped. Pick a place closer to the station.

The hotel was big and impressive, but the room wasn't so good. There were many attractions there.

Decent hotel for the price, a bunch of integrated amenities.

Thanks to their frequent shuttle bus, it's pretty easy to reach the hotel from the station. They have an Onsen and it's pretty good. They've got a jacuzzi as well and very relaxing. The rooms are big enough and comfortable. Front desk is professional and are really helpful. This hotel is on a bit costlier side, but worth every ¥.

Old Hotel but well-maintained. Big room. Provide shuttle bus to train station. Very popular during skin season, must book earlier. Great view overlooking the mountains.
