I had difficulty in finding vegetarian food in Hakodate since it is very much famous for seafood. This place was great and could easily serve vegetarian food. I visited twice and had veg rice and noodles. The owner (Japanese) was kind and I end up chatting for about an hour! Overall it’s a must place for those looking for vegetarian options!

For vegetarians.. This is a great spot.. In an area where vegetarian options are hard to come by if any.. They have a very good assortment and the taste is frankly pretty good.. Spice level is ample and can be higher if you want.. Good assortment of non veg too Glad to have found this spot during my 1 night stay in this quaint town

The ambience was just like any other Izakaya. The food was excellent, the curries still very much natural tasting, just like an Indian restaurant.

This is a nice, mainly curry (but other faire too) restaurant. It’s called an izakaya on Google for me, it has a really pleasant atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone for a tasty meal. The garlic naan was yummy.

Very nice restaurant. The food was quite tasty, and the chef and waitress were very kind and friendly. Food wise, the cheese naan was very tasty and the curry dish was very nice as well. I order a level 3 of spicyness which wasn’t enough for me, but if you are a person who like spicy food you should ask maybe 5-7. Price is reasonable too, I recommend this place.

Served excellent soup curry and mouthwatering cheese naan. The soup curry was much much better than those in Sapporo!

perfect spot for the authentic taste of Asian spice & flavor. Ordered the pork soup curry with option to choose to served with rice or naan even the spice level is customizable! Great service and cosy restaurant! Will definitely be back for sure!

We ordered the butter chicken set and mango lassi and it was so good! Probably the best butter chicken I ever had.

Food was excellent! My only regret is not ordering my curry more spicy.
