Skinny’s is a bar/food pub. Would definitely recommend to anyone in sasebo looking for a quick bite and a good time vibing to some 70s music 🎶 I highly recommend the “Fried chicken” and yakisoba. It is like no other. Everytime I travel to Sasebo, I will definitely be stopping by good ol’ skinny’s! P.S. the owner makes his own hot sauce; mango habanero and apple habanero for those who like a spicy kick to their meal ! 🌶

Small place with only 3 tables and a bar where you can also eat, the menu is limited but the food is delicious. The service is good, it’s only one person serving and cooking but he is super nice and attentive.

Absolutely hands down the best fried chicken in Japan! And of course there’s Skinny, makes it all the better.

Best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. My favorites are gyoza, sandwich, salad and fried rice. The spicy sauce is the highlight of all. Definitely recommend Skinny. Such a good person to talk to and he shared us some of the sauce.

I have been to Skinny's atleast 12 times and everytime you enter he immediately notices you and asks you what you would like to order. When you order the food it takes no more than 5-10 minutes depending on how many orders he gets at once ( he is one man after all). The food is absolutely without a doubt some of the best fresh made food I have had in Japan so far. The sandwiches,Chicken, Giyoza, and his Yakisoba is the best. Skinny's will always be near and dear to alot of people who visit and live in japan and should be 10/5 stars if possible.

Haven't been to Skinny's since I was stationed there in 2003. I still crave his garlic battered fried chicken. Great place to stop after the bar. Great music and great food. Miss ya Skinny.
