The BEST motsunabe I ever had. The soup sauce was great and the veggies did go well with the meat. It was easy to order although I don’t speak Japanese. Also the nama beer (draft beer) goes well with the dish!! Totally recommended!!

It's quite nice motsunabe. While there's no queue when we went for early dinner during weekdays, there was a queue when we left. Note: you need to order a serving per person, ie if you order the Manzoku course, everyone else in your group will have to order the same thing. We ordered 2x single course plus offal and it's enough for us. If you're a big eater, extra udon for the single course only cost Y300. When your table is ready, you'll need to take off your shoes, place it in a locker with a corresponding number to your table, and you'll be directed to the table.

If you are a non-Japanese customer, this place will rip you off and you might experience the same inequality of food. I had a motsu nabe at another restaurant which was so good, I made a reservation here since it had such a good review. I went in, ordered the course for two. There were couple other tables that came ahead of us and ordered, but for some reason our food came out much faster than others. (I was happy till then) When it was ready to eat, I realized the nabe barely had any protein (intestines=motsu), but I still went on to eat. The menu described that one person order contains about 1.5 servings, but our nabe had about 3 pieces of motsu (fatty large intestines) and rest were TOOOOO CHEWY AND TOUGH to eat we had to try chewing then swallow.. it was almost not edible and I felt like I was chewing a part of a rubber tire. I felt bad to my husband for bringing him here for his last meal in Japan. When I was ready to leave, not even having the noodles because I was so disappointed, I got up and saw other tables’ nabe with whole bunch of fatty large intestines on their nabe that I was never served with.. (the other tables came in with us and were also almost done, seemed very full and satisfied) The food I had can never be 5 star food thats worth $80 for two and we went somewhere else to have better food. By the way, they were giving out a fabric eco bag for free to customers who leave 5 star review but they didnt ask us or inform us about it😂 Every experience here in Japan was nice otherwise.

Super delicious! A must try in Fukuoka. You’re able to order only one person’s portion, which was a plus for us since we came here after dinner cuz we really wanted to try their motsunabe. It was definitely worth the price (price very reasonable). The lemon sour was beyond our expectation too. 10/10 recommend!

Recommend getting extra tofu! The noodles at the end were also good. The seating is no-shoes, sit-on-the-floor-style, but the floor is paved out, so it's still comfortable.

a great place, even for foreigners (although knowing some japanese will help you). you take off your shoes and sit on the floor. this was my first motsunabe and it was delicious! that being said, they ask you to leave a google maps review before you pay, and they watch you while you write it. no wonder the stellar ratings… a single motsunabe serving + champon noodles (highly recommend) + a glass of umesho cost me 2250. not bad!

If you come to Kyushu then you have to get nabe here. The best tasting nabe soup that I've had so far. If you get the course menu then come with an appetite because it's very filling. Plus depending on the course you can get all you can noodles for example. Would recommend. Bear in mind the meat is beef offal (mixed organs). English menu is available and the staff will do their best to communicate in English with if needed.

The broth of the hotpot is very good and the additional spice available makes it even taste better. The meat is very chewy though, but still tastes great.

I recently tried Motsunabe for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The mix of various organ meats with vegetables and tofu in a savory broth created a unique and satisfying flavor. The dish's interactive cooking style added to the fun and communal experience of sharing the meal with friends. I loved that I could adjust the spiciness according to my preference using condiments provided. Overall, Motsunabe is a must-try for anyone looking to explore new flavors in Japanese cuisine. FYI I came here on my birthday and was sad they do not provide anything for my birthday.

First time having motsunabe and it was delicious! The broth was super flavorful, lots of garlic, goes great with a Shochu Highball :-) The mentaiko and the kimchi were also very yummy, and the service was also great, so it was an all-around great experience!

Really enjoy eating here and the noodles is so yummy that can’t be missed. And the Tofu too!! If you go alone, I recommend you to order the set for 2 ppl or you have to order more beef intestines instead coz it just too yummy and you will order more for sure. 🤭
