Recommended by my hostel host, and tried the local Motsunabe! Delicious where the soup base is spicy and served by friendly staff. Join the locals and have a beer alongside the delicious food. Seating on the ground floor remember to take off your shoes upon entering. When I went around 7:30pm I didn't have to wait. Perfect for dinner and they have an English menu.

so delicious motsu nabe ever! base soup is syoyu(soy sauce) and vegies and meat are so fresh and testy. at the end must put noodles in! i must visit here again! and all staffs are super kind♡ thx for good memory and meal!

Amazing food and wonderful service by Ohnishi-San. The food here went above and beyond our expectations. This was our first time in Fukuoka and our first time trying motsu-nabe. My mom is quite the talker and had lots of questions regarding the dishes to which Ohnishi San kindly answered. The garlic-y shoyu broth of the motsu nabe was to die for with a depth of flavor!!! It was unlike any broth we’ve ever had— SO a good. The motsu-nabe also has a very generous portion of vegetables (cabbage and nira). We also tried the sumotsu as an appetizer and really liked it. Sumotsu served cold with a refreshing sauce, perfect for a hot day. Aside from amazing food, they have a variety of drinks. My mom tried the ume chuuhai and lemon chuuhai and she loved them both! We were honestly a little nervous about whether we would like motsunabe but we left with very happy tummies! I highly recommend.

Overall experience is good. Service are very good, although we come quite late, they still allow us to go in. The restaurant is very small, but service are very good. Portion is quite large. Can order via QR code.

We visited the restaurant and had a very delicious meal here. The service was nice and quick. We will definitely visit this place again if we have chance to visit Fukuoka city! Highly recommend the restaurant for family of four people~
