The actual fish market itself is not really accessible however the location nearby has quite a few notable seafood restaurants which sell fresh fish dishes and all kinds of seafood, most of which are obtained from the market. As such the food is very fresh and the prices are very reasonable. The building which hosts all these seafood restaurants is clean, airy and well lit so dining there is enjoyable. Meals which are served are early breakfast, lunch and dinner. For dinner it may be wise to call for reservations. Parking at the market complex is ample and should not pose any issues. Well Recommended for a visit if you are a Seafood Fan as it’s an opportunity to get top class Super fresh Seafood at very affordable prices. It was so good we went for 3 meals there! 👍

1st time for visited here. Little disapointed because nothing to da here. Just only seafood restaurant. Maybe I came on weekday so no seafood activities serve to tourist.

I was very fortunate to have accidentally visit this fish center, not knowing that it is only opened for public, on the 2nd Saturday of each month. There was a morning market held too, at the outside of the main building. Many stalls selling fresh seafood, local produce like fruits and vegetables. Inside the building, there are many seafood restaurants!!!

Some restaurants that of course specialize in seafood. We came on the 30th December at the last official working day of the year so supply and selection limited. Nevertheless we still had very good lunch of sashimi, simmered bream head, grilled buri head & fried kaki.

Fish market. Nice cafes downstairs and a good view of the city upstairs. Free entrance. The fish in the cafe is really fresh and delicious cause it is very near the port.

Enjoyed all the freshness sushi. It was a week day and waited a bit but totally worth it.

You don't need to go in the actual fish market. Just head next door to a building which has some amazingly fresh fishes on their menu. Real good & fresh.

I visited this market to buy fish. Usually it's only accessible to shop or restaurant owners. As it's not a retail market. But as a general citizen you have access on second Saturday of every month at 9 am. But it's better if you come early. My recommendation is 7.30 am or earlier. So that you can grab some good lots. If you are Fukuoka, you should try at least one. Very fresh fish, different kind and reasonable price also.

This market opens once a month, on the first saturday if the month. Many local people and foreigner go there to buy somewhat cheaper seafood than those usually we find in supermarket all over the city

A wonderful place for people seeking fresh and live seafood. They also offer ready-to-eat, yummy squid in front of the building

On Sunday, there are only 2 eateries which are open. The sashimi is really good. Have to wait for a while before you get your table

Not the type of famous Tsukiji market in Tokyo, but I found good little restaurants, very good prices also
