There are many works made by active craftsmen. The exhibited items are available for purchase at a price. You can relax.

This is an Inami sculpture museum adjacent to the roadside station Inami. I was able to see up close the wonderful traditional carvings that have been passed down to the present day. There are a variety of items such as Buddhist statues, Tenjin statues, lion heads, and other items used to decorate homes, such as transoms, screens, panels, and ornaments, and practical items such as nameplates. There are modern art pieces and cute pieces, and the guitar with the Inami carvings is a masterpiece. The engraver's name and price are clearly written on the work, and it seems that you can also order it. Although it's not an easy purchase, you can enjoy the fun of window shopping. When building a new house, it seems that celebrations and souvenirs are also accepted. I'm really glad I stopped by instead of passing through.

(Translated by Google) It is a joint gallery or exhibition facility that displays the works of active artists from Inami Sculpture. The old works are the temples, the private residences, and the decoration of the altar, so it may be a bit different when you imagine the museum of the old works. However, the appearance of the works of active artists lined up is impressive, and the selling price is written, so it may be helpful for those who are thinking of purchasing. I think that the relationship between the design and copyright protection, but it is a bit disappointing that shooting in the hall is prohibited.

I have been working as a Toyama prefecture resident for many years, but I just started. There are many wonderful wood carvings on display that are representative of Inami carvings. Admission fee is 500 yen. Is there a need to pay? I felt that it would be better to promote it more actively and have it seen by more people. All the works have prices, so it's fun to match the price and the work.

No cycle rack. It's best to park at the cycle rack at Roadside Station Inami. If you present the pamphlet you receive when you tour Zuisenji Temple, you will receive a 200 yen discount. There is a lion gatchara right next to the entrance. You can purchase a carved wooden lion for 500 yen. Only 500 yen coins are accepted, so you can exchange it for cash if you ask the receptionist. If you win, you will receive a discount ticket for admission (100 yen off for adults), so it is better to pass it before entering. Most of the works on display inside the museum are not allowed to be photographed. The ``Reiwa Throne'' and the clay prototype ``Lion Cub Otoshi'' placed outside the building are acceptable. Many of the pieces have traditional motifs, but there are one or two craftsmen with unique sensibilities. It wouldn't be strange to see him displayed in a museum as an artist rather than a craftsman. Exhibited works can be made to order. Most cost between 400,000 and 2 million yen. The cheapest nameplate is around 30,000 yen. The souvenir corner in front of the reception desk is a little expensive to buy as a souvenir, and I feel it's a little tasteless. Roadside station Inami is still nice. A clear file (200 yen) for the Nanto sightseeing campaign "Koi Tabi True Tears" is available. Cash accounting only. (As of May 4, 2023)

Many works by craftsmen who inherited the traditional culture of Inami carving, which has continued for over 250 years, were on display. The lion head, transom, and Tenjin statue were all worth seeing. Before entering the museum, if you spin the lion head gacha (500 yen) at the entrance, you will receive a 100 yen discount ticket.

Hall of wood carving. The building itself is cool, so you won't get tired of looking around it along with the exhibits. The exhibits have prices, so I guess they can sell them, but photography is not allowed. There was also a special exhibition of plastic models, and we were able to enjoy the works of local scale model masters! Typical production items of Inami carving are Ranma & Tenjin (a custom in Hokuriku), and lion heads. There is no doubt that you will be excited by the wonderful craftsmanship.

I was surprised by the impressive group of sculptures, but what surprised me the most was that most of the exhibits were for sale. I enjoyed the wide variety of works, from traditional ones to ones that were not copyrighted or not, to ones that made it difficult to understand how they were able to create a three-dimensional object in this shape even though it wasn't a 3D printer. JAF discount available

(Translated by Google) In April 2019, it was a place recommended by a friend in Toyama. I went. The town itself is like a collection of sculptors. You can actually see where the sculptors are carving in the demonstration. Everyone is also facing the work It's another world. There are many wonderful works that arouse interest, Prices range from affordable to expensive. There were some things that I couldn't help but want. By all means, I would like to consider purchasing if I can afford it ^ ^ (Original)

(Translated by Google) For the first time, I saw an engraver heading for a piece of work and working on it. Big works are made like this. According to the engraver, it is rare to demonstrate such a big work at a sculpture festival. I'm glad I was able to come to this opportunity. The ramen made by grandpas was cheap and delicious. I visited on a Saturday and the tour went smoothly with no waiting time ☺️ It was amazing to see so many wonderful wood carvings☝️ The 10-tier soft-serve ice cream 🍦 at the parking lot 🅿 store is 200 yen and is a good value for money 🉐 I think it's worth stopping by if you come to Inami, the city of sculpture.

A large number of wood carvings are on display. Since it has a price, I think you can buy it. People who like wood carving, carving, and crafts should go there at least once. It's amazing technology and imagination. This facility is integrated with the wood carving village and roadside station Inami. Photography is not allowed inside the building.

Isn't wood carving something that people are not interested in on a daily basis these days?

(Translated by Google) About 100 wood carving works by Inami sculptors are lined up and can be seen at once. In addition, wood carving animals and insects are hidden and exhibited in the hall, so it is fun to look for them. I learned a lot from looking at the exhibits, such as Inami having the highest rate of lion dance tradition in Japan, and Inami carvings at Higashi Honganji Temple in Kyoto. The interior of the museum was filled with the scent of wood, making it a relaxing and relaxing place to explore. I want to go again.
