Restaurant Chinese takeaway Shanghainese restaurant

😠 Having lived in Asia for 25yrs, I can safely say that this is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Also, the service was poor and the restaurant management were rude and aggressive when dealing with our complaint. The only thing I would recommend about this this place is to AVOID IT! People often mention restaurant, Chinese, good, service,

This Chinese restaurant is great! The restaurant itself looks very nice! I like the Chinese style tables and interiors!! Also looks so good clean! The staffs are really friendly and good for hospitality! Of course the foods were amazing! All tastes great! And they serve good alcohol too! There are regular tables and at the end of the restaurant has good semi private tables! They have good interiors on it!! If you are looking for good Chinese restaurant in Yokohama Chinatown, I highly recommend here!

A Chinese restaurant in Yokohama's China town is hard to be noticed when there seems to be thousands but this one succeeded as it evokes old China. Laqured dark wood and suggestions of Shanghai in 1920 are everywhere. Oh and the food is great too.

If you had good experience eating at this restaurant last year, well the memory does not last this year. Completely different food by different chef. The "very salty" shark fin soup was very runny and barely any, mostly just jelly. the braised tofu was extremely salty, with high concentration of MSG. and the xiao long bao has a strong vinegar ending note taste in an unpleasant way. overall, just bland high MSG cooking style. soup, tofu, pork and everything taste the same. no sense of japanese or chinese or fusion cuisine, whatsoever.

Don't eat here. We got begged to come in and eat and they moment we ordered they were trying to rush us out. We realized they pressured us into the restaurant 15 minutes before closing. They must be desperate with lack if tourists. The server was so rude to us (despite us knowing Japanese). Go anywhere else in China Town. Also the pecking duck was bad. Many other resturants worth eating at.

We really enjoyed this Chinese restaurant in the heart of Yokohama's Chinatown. We got the set meal that was around ¥9,000 and included eight courses. It was absolutely delicious and I have no regrets spending that much money on an unforgettable experience. We predominantly visited for the shark fin soup but ended up enjoying all of the meals. The service was very quick and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Yokohama Chinatown is lined with many types of Chinese restaurants from Beijing, Shanghai, Cantonese, and Sichuan. Above all, Shanghai cuisine has many dishes that are familiar and easy to eat in Japan, such as xiao long bao, fried rice with five ingredients, braised pork, and fried shrimp. At Jang Yuan Lou, you can eat high-grade Shanghai cuisine in a spacious restaurant. Especially during lunchtime on weekdays, the menu is reasonably priced, so why not stop by casually?

Excellent family owned Chinese restaurant in the heart of Yokohama Chinatown. The food here is authentic and the service is top notch. Pricing is also very reasonable. Highly recommended. We ordered a variety of dishes a la carte, and all of them were very tasty. Highlights include the mapo tofu and stir fried seasonal vegetables. The interior of the restaurant is quite posh and clean. You can tell the owners put care into the operations.

Excellent Chinese food for 9 of us on a company trip. Spent Y53,000 which seems reasonable. The photo of the lobster dish at Y6,000 was a bit misleading, maybe avoid. Also the Peking duck skin was a little underwhelming. We had the big table at the end, but the diner style alcove seating by the walls looks very nice and cozy as well.

(Translated by Google) The customer service was good and it was delicious. When I went around 12 o'clock, I put it in immediately. I was guided to a place like a couple seat. It was completely different from the mango pudding sold in that area. I don't know if I want to go again ... (Original) 接客態度も良く、美味しかったです。 12時頃行ったところすぐ入れました。 カップルシートのような場所に案内していただきました。 マンゴープリンがその辺で売ってるのと全然違いました。 また行きたいかと言われると分かりませんが…

(Translated by Google) I ordered a dim sum deluxe course for lunch. I heard that "Chinese food in Chinatown is not very delicious", but I was very satisfied with the taste and quantity of any food at this restaurant because it was so delicious that I couldn't serve it at home. Even at noon on Sunday, the customer service was polite and the speed and timing of serving food was good. Speaking of greed, I felt that the seats for 2 people were a little small, so I chose 4 stars. If I have a chance, I would like to repeat and order other menus.
