Service is quick and staff are friendly and professional. The Xiao long bao is amazing, one of the best I’ve had. The soup inside is so tasty and the skin is nice and thin. The har gao is great too! They provide new plates for every dish that they serve. The restaurant is also very clean and well spaced out between each tables. As a Cantonese Chinese myself, everything tasted really good and authentic. The only dish that I’d say is not super good would be the Chee cheong fun filled with char siew and prawns. The Chee cheong fun was a bit thick. Other than that, everything is great- the price is reasonable, service is good and the food is great too. I will definitely come back again!

Wanted to try out the Chinatown as I’m usually based in Osaka, has a pretty nice dining experience and hit happy hour so the beers were like 300yen. The food seems relatively authentic Chinese from what I know. I ordered chicken feet’s by accident thinking they were chicken wings so that was a surprise, but munched them down anyway, pretty decent although I’m not used to the texture. The short ribs were good and the dumplings were excellent, nice service! Would go again, perhaps with a Chinese friend who knows what’s good to order!

The dishes were mostly good and tasted authentic and similar to what I’m used to (Cantonese style dim sum), definitely better than the multiple all-you-can-eat places around. Of course, this was on the pricier side, but honestly it wasn’t too bad. We decided to order off the menu instead of going for one of the courses. If you know what you like, it’s definitely more worth it to just order the items that you want. The course included other things like cabbage rolls and fried rice which we weren’t interested in. We ended up spending less than half of what we would have spent for the course! There were quite a few people even on a week day afternoon, but the online reservation is fairly easy and hassle free.

Have to say that I was surprised that I could find a Chinese restaurant in the overhyped touristy chukagai that offers authentic Cantonese dim sum! Compared to the other restaurants along the main streets that have all-you-can-eat, i recommend that you walk into the alley for this if you are craving what you missed when you were in Hong Kong. No doubt the price is slightly higher, but I sometimes see big black cars dropping off rows of businessmen in suits here so you can expect it’s not your typical neighborhood chuka. I think it’s great that they have the lower floors serving more affordable dishes to the typical working class like myself. Don’t forget to check out the small shop near the entrance selling its fine selection in frozen take home packs of you would like to recreate the taste at home with the safety of social distancing.

Great Chinese restaurant 🇨🇳 The spécial highball is good but quite different from normal one ! Dumpling are especially tasty 🥟 Prices are normal for the quality, service is good 👍🏼 It’s quite popular so you have to come before the opening to have ticket if you don’t booked and don’t want to wait too long but it worth it 👍🏼

One of very popular Cantonese restaurants in Yokohama Chinatown. Every plate tastes good and the service is very friendly. You can take away chilled dim sum and I love the pork buns.

If you are from Singapore you can get much better dim sum and at much better prices. I Would say this resturant is expensive. The dim sum taste ok but it’s not the fine workmanship we expected . Very unrefined . The Chee Cheong Fun skin is very thick. The char siew pao is chunky inside. The duck . One quarter is abt $24 and I had much better as parts were tough. Best would be the radish cake. Glutinous rice with egg yolk cream and the pan fried leek dumplings is not bad. Would not be back again. Max I Would rate is a 3.8.

We had a nice lunch here and they were thankfully very accommodating of our kids (servers were friendly too!). We ordered mostly dim sum, which didn't disappoint, but didn't amaze either. However, if I consider the price it's hard to complain.

Their dumplings were fresh and delicious. Had Shiumai, Ha Gao, Fu Cho fried rice, side vegetables etc. All were good! Went there on Saturday at 11:15-ish without a reservation, but able to get a table without waiting. I saw more and more people were coming in, so getting there early and/or making a reservation seemed a good idea. The restaurant installed the transparent separator between tables, and there’s a hand sanitizer as well.

Wonderful Chinese meal. Each dish tasted authentic except the rice. Good tea. Delicious dessert. A little expensive ~2500-3000 yen per person. But well worth it. Enjoy!

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal at the female owned Saikoshinkan, especially the two most popular dishes on their menu, the shrimp cheung fun and fried shrimp roll. The tender fried shrimp roll came with a suggested side of mayonnaise, which I would have never thought of but was a perfect match. The crab chaahan was also delicious. The cheung fun skin melted in my mouth, leaving me to wonder if I should extra and skip dessert. There are several courses to choose from if you’d prefer to leave it up to them as well. (Including a no meat course for pescatarians - however the no meat course includes seafood). The staff were accommodating to my dietary requests, and were able to remove meat from my dishes. The venue is spacious with multiple floors and a gift section next to the entrance. Just a heads up to make a reservation in advance of you may wait up to 40 minutes! -They don’t offer it on the table but if you ask, there is black vinegar you can add to your meals for that extra bit of malty flavoring.

The food is good but the course isn't worth it. Get the a la carte instead.

【Link in bio】We came for the roast duck, and it was amazing. Juicy and flavorful, it was the authentic dish we were looking for. Other dishes were good as well, like the shrimp noodle(no photo..) It is our go to place in Yokohama china town. check our blog in bio.

The food was generally okay, but disappointed a bit with slightly tough and dry meat despite that we went for an early dinner on a crowded national holiday. Char siu was particularly tough and dry, both the crispy type and inside the dim sum. The duck was better, but the skin was a bit too hard instead of crispy. We also missed small vegetable dishes in the menu, since the only stir fried greens were completely overcharged with 2400 JPY per portion (quarter duck was under 2000 for reference). For the general prices, an appetiser would have been nice as well. The staff was very attentive and polite, thanks for that. Their number reservation system is not reliable btw, so I recommend to monitor your phone rather than trusting the called numbers on the screen. We waited over an hour only to find out that we would have been able to go in already despite the number that was shown on the screen. Overall, we'll likely try other places first before coming back.

My third time. I loved the dim-sun that photo I attached, with nice harmony of lemon grass and wanton. The rest, they tasted just normal and all costed more than ¥2,000 / person for lunch without alcohol. Bit overpriced.

I am very oftentimes Yokohama and have investigated Chinatown for good Chinese restaurant. There are many, but saikoShinKan has teaming concept with excellent food that fits my expectations better than any other Chinese restaurant I know. Very recommendable.
