(Translated by Google) It was a mountain road on the way to go. It's not difficult to drive because it is well maintained, but I thought I could go on a normal road, so please refer to it! The museum itself is very clean and well maintained. I'm still in my twenties, so I couldn't fully enjoy the goodness of the work, but I thought there were many beautiful and tasteful works. The hall is also calm and you can see the exhibits slowly. Maybe it was Friday, but there weren't many people and there was space outside the building so I didn't really care about infectious diseases. Please come visit us! !! !!

(Translated by Google) I went before the new pneumonia epidemic. This exhibition is very nice. When I took a closer look at each one, one day wasn't enough. It was purely fun to get to know the culture and life of various countries in the world. There are many interesting exhibits such as gorgeous Indian Barbie dolls, Easter eggs from various countries, picture books of star princes from all over the world, Muay Thai costumes, and Moai statues. It was good that there was an exhibition where you can see not only historical things but also a part of the general life of the country. There was also a large-scale exhibition that recreated a private house, so you could actually go inside and see it. The restaurant in the hall was spacious and the food was delicious. There were many souvenirs that could be bought at the museum shop, which are typical of the Folklore Museum.

Amazing place to go. Located inside the World Expo area. It offers many exhibitions from all over the world. You could easily spend the whole day here and you would still find interesting things. Even if you don't like museums, this one is special. While it offers to so many cultures exponents and information it just keeps interesting.

The collection here is awesome, overwhelming, and sometimes eclectic. We thought we could be in and out in 2 hours but ended up spending over 3 hours. And that was in a rush, we probably could have spent double that amount of time if we didn't want to see other stuff in the park. However, not a museum for someone who doesn't like reading as there isn't much interaction here other than the linguistics exhibit. Also, not all the info boards are translated to English, so be prepared to use your phone data either to scan QR codes for translated info, or use your Google translate.

This museum is separated in several sections, filtered by geolocation (Oceania, Africa, …) Very interesting museum, where you can spend hours and hours if you are interesting in every part of the world. Unfortunately, the description signs are not 100% English, but the most of it is. If you are interested in human history and differences in culture, this is a must see. I recommend to combine the museum with the park. You can buy tickets outside of the park (gate) or inside of the museum

One of the best museum I have ever visited, it can consume you a whole day or even more time if you try to look at all the items they exhibit, the venue is very big and got so many things to see and learn, eye opening experience, entrance fee is cheap.

Honestly, we only went into this place to escape Japan's horrible summer sun. I had no idea what to expect, "ethnology" is not a word we use frequently in English. But it was an awesome museum. The museum had exhibits on cultures I'm not completely used to in America. I haven't seen such a huge exhibit on Kazakhstan, for example. Highlights were the kite exhibits, the hall of musical instruments, and also the exhibits of common clothes Pacific Islanders wear - I hadn't been to a museum that features my part of the world in another country. I plan to go back, there was too much to take in for just one day.

(Translated by Google) To those who are going (1) Due to storage reasons, the room is kept at room temperature of around 22 degrees Celsius. If you are cold even in the summer, please bring a light coat. ② The places where you can eat and drink are limited. Be aware that dehydration and lack of energy slow down brain processing. Look at the map and plan your strategy. ③ Let's borrow an electronic guide. I was disappointed when I learned after the museum closed. Free. And with a video. ④ If you like to read the commentary, it is best to take about 2 days to capture it with plenty of time. ⑤ There is an electronic ticket guide at the bottom left of the official website, and it will be cheaper if you purchase from there. Tickets with special exhibitions have a large discount rate. I was honestly licking. Sorry. First of all, it's huge. I thought I knew it because I was looking at the map inside the building in advance, but it was several times wider than I expected. The exhibition was only on the 2nd floor, but the building area is 17089㎡. Of course, there are corridors and reception desks, but even if you subtract them, they are wide. And the exhibits are lined up in a narrow space, as if there was not enough space on the wall. It is a masterpiece. Looking at each one and recognizing it, the energy of the brain is insufficient, and I, who is poor, lack the muscles of the legs in the first place. Enter at the same time as the opening, and take a break only for hydration for 10 minutes or less. It was closed until the museum closed, but I didn't borrow the PSP video commentary, and at the end I broke it. I pray for the end of Corona because I want to try again. (Translated by Google) It is highly recommended because you can feel like traveling the world for less than 1,000 yen, but anyway, the distance traveled and the amount of exhibits are too intense, so it is recommended to eat well before going. .. Otherwise, you are likely to have hypoglycemia on the way. There is a restaurant where you can enjoy the food of the world, but the clerk responded so that you could relive the service of the former Soviet Union, and the food was "normally delicious", so that's right, if I were the opposite expo I'm going to the food court in the city ... Anyway, you can see a lot of things, so please charge your energy and go to see it. It's a lot of fun. I could finally afford to watch the video take for the 5th time (I couldn't afford to watch it by the time I ran out of energy every time) It was a dream come true to enjoy it with something. I don't have enough time Added on November 3rd: Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, it is no longer possible to enter the reproduced private houses. Also, the restaurant is currently closed due to renovation work. When I visited, I was holding the Katsushika Hokusai exhibition, and I was able to appreciate it luxuriously. I was lucky to be able to look around really slowly because there are few people because of the influence of Corona. There is also a cafe by Mr. Yoroizuka, which is a recommended spot where you can fully enjoy art with your tongue after watching it. Second time visiting this museum. It would have been more exciting. But nope, you realize how cramped the exhibits have been. While there were descriptions for some notable displays, you can hardly read them. I wish they do something to jazz up the presentations in the near future if they want to attract more visitors. To be fair, visiting teachers are admitted freely while student tickets are half the price.

Phenomenal museum--well worth the visit. Truly an amazing collection of items from around the world. Incredible displays, it's a lot to take in. We were completely mesmerized by the collection--both it's volume and quality. I really liked so many of the exhibits--its hard to highlight them all--I wouldn't be doing them justice. My children also enjoyed the museum--its a great learning place, I wish there were more places like this around the world! If in Osaka again, we'd make the effort to come back. Highly recommended.

Fantastic spot to spend a few hours in. The museum is located inside the Expo Commemoration Park (accessible by the osaka monorail), and is a roughly 10 min walk from the entrance of the Expo Park. The different cultures of the world are displayed clearly through the 2nd floor of the museum. Each region has its own section complete with faithful and realistic recreations of notable landmarks or sights. The museum also has categories such as religion, music and language. Most of the exhibits include a reasonable amount of English explanations, though they are not as detailed as the jaapense ones. Even so, the sheer breath of things to see here is more than sufficient to keep most busy for a few hours. Ensure you retain your ticket stub, as you will need for access back into the Expo park.

There are library too which collections are so interesting, about language, history, culture, and ethnics from around the world, in english and japanese. There are many computers too for you to watch their collection of documentary movies. And there is events almost every 2 weeks in this museum. This interactional based museum is worth to visit.

Vast collection, especially strong on Japan, Korea, China. Other regions are represented by geography (roughly one zone per continent) as a nice summary of it, short but sufficient. There is also a small section on languages and - surprisingly - one entirely dedicated to music. Portable video guides are very exhaustive: they consist of over 700 videos of 1 to 3 minutes, in Japanese or English. Was not crowded in spite of it being a Sunday, most probably because access is not the easiest. Special heads up to the very specific architecture of the building from the 70's, which whether you like it or not is a must-see. Staff friendly.

It seems that it was built by a religious corporation (?), But it has a strange atmosphere from here. The ceiling of the hall on the way changes color one after another while swirling, and it feels like you are in a kaleidoscope. Once you climb up the escalator and go outside, you can get a panoramic view of Sagami Nada. The first guide to the main building was the reproduction of Hideyoshi's Golden Tea Room. It's real money! The exhibits included many works by Rinpa artists, including Korin Ogata. There are many national treasures and important cultural properties, and it is worth seeing. Most of the paintings are Japanese art, so there are many hanging scrolls and folding screens, but there are also many crafts such as vessels, which I enjoyed. (Translated by Google) I decided to exercise a little, so I walked to the MOA Museum of Art. Isn't there a treadmill that allows you to choose the slope? The walking route to this destination allows you to experience hard slopes that cannot be selected by machine. Lol It is a course with a beautiful view. However, I am sweaty even in winter. Until now, I have occasionally climbed mountains at home and abroad. It was so tight that it fits in five fingers. Lol I thought I would get on the bus on the return trip, but I missed it and I didn't have time to wait for the next bus, so I was destined to walk ... But the result was good. The view is really wonderful on a sunny day. If you walk along Google Maps, it will be a detour, so it is recommended that you take the shortcut because there is a small sign that says "MOA Museum of Art Pedestrian Shortcut" on the way. The museum is wonderful without any explanation. In addition, the garden was beautiful and we had delicious sweets and matcha. The size of the site seems to be enough to spend a leisurely half day, but this time I spent time climbing the mountain, so I will visit again slowly the next time I go to Atami. I like the bus this time. Lol My favorite places in Atami have increased.
