This
was
my
second
time
staying
at
Basecamp
Imari
and
it
was
just
as
wonderful
as
the
first
time!
For
this
trip,
I
brought
my
mom
so
she
could
enjoy
all
that
the
village
and
guesthouse
have
to
offer.
We
did
the
pottery
wheel
experience
in
the
local
village
and
got
to
just
stroll
around
the
gorgeous
little
streets
and
enjoy
the
scenery.
We
also
did
two
activities
at
the
guest
house
with
Mayumi-san.
My
mother
and
I
did
the
kimono
experience
which
was
so
much
fun.
Mayumi-san
and
her
mother
are
both
licensed
to
dress
people
in
kimono
and
they
took
amazing
care
of
us.
It
was
extra
nice
doing
the
kimono
experience
with
a
mother
daughter
team
😊
Plus,
the
village
is
so
picturesque
it’s
perfect,
and
peaceful,
for
all
the
kimono
photos
you
could
ever
want.
We
also
did
the
candy
making
experience
which
was
a
perfect
ending
to
our
visit
-
and
surprisingly
involved!
Okawachiyama
is
a
wonderful
village
to
visit
but
staying
at
base
camp
Imari
is
easily
my
favorite
part.
I
am
already
looking
forward
my
next
trip
back!
Thank
you
Gil-san
and
Mayumi-san
for
making
my
moms
visit
so
memorable!
