Really enjoyed the Pompei exhibition on now, excellent snapshot of life at that time. They blended not just the sculptures, frescoes, jewelry, art discovered but also modern NHK video and CGI to show what must have happened and how/where the various homes and artifacts were discovered and where in the city. Highly enjoyed, learned a lot here, very sobering but also enlightening. And also should mention, nice to have a museum shop, various books, souvenirs available.

(Translated by Google) Until the end of November 2020, "Momoyama-100 Years of the World" is being held. It is necessary to purchase an admission ticket that specifies the time zone from the web. It's not too difficult to take, and because of this, there is no waiting for admission or congestion like before. I think it's a good system. The exhibits are very spectacular, and although they are instructed to see them within 90 minutes to alleviate congestion, they have exceeded a little. The thick catalog of 3000 yen is a bargain and recommended item, as you can learn the intentions that the museum put into the exhibits.

We paid 1000 JPY for admission, if you’re a university student it’s 500 JPY. There are 3 buildings and many floors. We managed to stay for 2.5 hours and left. There was a lot to see. The cafe was small and food option near the first building was limited.

We visited the museum during weekdays but it was rainy and there were a lot of people. It took us more than around 20 minutes to buy tickets. There is a map in the entrance that can be downloaded by scanning a QR code. 2 floors with 3 buildings, where you can get familiar with the Japanese culture and religion during the different eras.

(Translated by Google) Walk about 10 minutes from Ueno station. We hold various exhibitions. There are many exhibitions of Buddhist statues, and it is recommended for those who like Buddhist statues. If you live in Tokyo, you can't easily go to see the rural areas, so I'm grateful for the exhibition. It's next to the Tokyo National Museum, but it's connected inside. I went to see the National Treasure Ashura Exhibition, Kukai and Buddhist Art Exhibition, Todaiji Exhibition, and National Treasure Toji Exhibition. At the Ashura exhibition, I am deeply moved that the grandfather was holding hands with the Ashura statue. It may be best to go to the local temples and temples, but there are also good exhibitions. It is good to be able to see from an angle other than the front. At the time of the Toji exhibition, the statue of Teishakuten was on display, and photography was OK. What will happen when you look at it later? Even though it's an angle that you can't usually see, is it built so far? I am impressed. In addition to the exhibition, you can also see the treasures that are permanently exhibited at the National Museum. This is free! ?? You can enjoy it for a long time.

(Translated by Google) We are currently exhibiting during the Azuchi-Momoyama period, and you can see many armor and paintings that often appear in history textbooks and magazines. Rakuchu Rakugaizu is interesting because the cityscape of Kyoto differs depending on the times. Now, due to Corona, you can't watch it unless you reserve a ticket in advance, so we recommend checking it from the official website. (Translated by Google) I saw the special exhibition "Momoyama Momoyama-100 Years of the World" 👀 It is necessary to reserve an online "reserved-seat ticket" online, but the number of people is limited in 30-minute units, and congestion is alleviated. Because it was announced that it would be viewed within 90 minutes, I was able to take a closer look at each work without being crowded ❗️😁👍 There may be individual differences, but I think that it will take about that much (around 90 minutes) ❗️ Held until 11/29 (Sun) ❗️ The Azuchi Momoyama era in political history refers to the 30 years from the destruction of the Muromachi Shogunate in 1573 to the opening of the Edo Shogunate in 1603, focusing on the most magnificent and splendid "Momoyama art" in the history of Japanese art that has blossomed in these 30 years. , The Japanese aesthetic sense that changed from the end of the Muromachi era to the beginning of the Edo era is introduced by many masterpieces. Introducing guns that symbolize the dawn of the Warring States period: 1543 ~ 1639, when the Portuguese ship 🇵🇹🚢 was banned from entering the country and closed. The year 1590, when Toyotomi Hideyoshi destroyed Hojo and unified the world, is almost the middle point of the last 100 years. In June of this year (2020), when I visited "Denkoku no Mori-Yonezawa City Uesugi Museum" in Yamagata Prefecture, I drew the capital of Kyoto that Nobunaga Oda gave to Kenshin Uesugi. "Rakuchu Rakugaizu Byoubu" (Uesugi family book) → It is said that the national treasure, Eitoku Kano (1543-1590) completed it at the age of 23 in 1565. After seeing () 👀, I became fond of seeing the pictures drawn on the breeze and bran ⤴️ This folding screen was the "early exhibition", and since I visited during the "late exhibition" period, the powerful "Karajishizu Byoubu" was exhibited ❗️😁👍 Eitoku Kano was good at fine paintings like "Rakuchu Rakugai Folding Screen" when he was young, but he was too popular and had a lot of work, so he didn't have time to draw fine paintings and the time it took to draw was short. It is said that it has changed to a powerful painting style such as "Karashishi Folding Screen" and "Hinoki Zu Folding Screen: National Treasure". He said he was very busy and died of overwork at the age of 47-48 😱 Other major exhibits → To commemorate Nobunaga's first anniversary, the portrait "Oda Nobunaga Statue" (important cultural property), which was drawn by Nobunaga's vassal on Kano Einori's younger brother, Kano Soshu (1551-1601) Tonobu: 1477-1559)'s "Four Seasons Flowers and Birds" (important cultural property), Hasegawa Tohaku's "Shorinzu Byoubu" (National Treasure) and "Kaedezu Wall Attached" (National Treasure), Armor that Masamune Date received from Hideyoshi Toyotomi: "Ginii Yozaneshiro and Odoshi Domaru Gusoku" ) ”(Important cultural property), the armor that Yasumasa Sakakibara, one of the four Tokugawa kings, worshiped from Ieyasu just before the Battle of Sekigahara,“ Konito Odoshi Nanban Dogusoku ”(Important) Cultural property) etc ... In the folding screen paintings other than the above ... Insects such as butterflies 🦋 and dragonflies are drawn, and birds that make a gesture like pointing a finger with a feather and have a conversation with a friend are drawn. There were some unique pictures, such as how to draw ripples on the surface of the water as if the waterfowl were alive and moving, and some waterfowl were hiding their heads in the water. ❗️😄 I'm a "history fan" beginner, and I like to see historic buildings such as castle towers 🏯 and stone walls, turrets, and gates, but seeing pictures drawn hundreds of years ago is also history. You can touch & you can deviate from the real world at that time (escape from reality ❓), and you can feel like you are in the world at that time, so it's nice ~ ♪ * All the special exhibition rooms were 📷🎥 Shooting prohibited 😅 The admission fee is ¥ 2,400 for general students, ¥ 1,400 for university students, and ¥ 1,000 for high school students, and you can also see a comprehensive cultural exhibition (permanent exhibition) ❗️😁✨ (Original)
