(visit on 29th September at around 14:00) The art is beautiful but we had a very negative experience. The man who greeted us when we entered gave us interesting information, but then followed us around trying to hard sell us products, which made us feel uncomfortable. When I had picked something that I wanted to buy, he insulted us by laughing with a colleague in Japanese, assuming we couldn't understand, saying 'ichiban yasui' (the cheapest one - laughing that we had supposedly picked the cheapest item). Please don't assume that all travellers have a lot of money to spend and don't be rude about their choices. I chose to support this venue because I appreciated the art, but left feeling very upset.

A small museum with Edo traditional hand craft display. It is on a side street about 5 minutes from the Asakusa Shrine. The displays are really nice and worth a visit. Free entrance.

Pleasant and informative. Staff speak English well. Not large but if one is a fan of handiworks and artwork it is well worth a visit

(Translated by Google) It is highly recommended for those who like traditional crafts. I thought it would be good to have an experience event. It's not so crowded, so you can enjoy it slowly.

(Translated by Google) I was introduced to traditional crafts in video, and it was easy to understand and interested. The point that is unsatisfactory is that I do not know where to go to buy things or where to find them. Isn't it okay to give it a little more business because it's advertised?

It's a cute little free museum with a nice sampling of traditional crafts. I only wish they sold a little more of the items on display because many are beautiful.

Incredible little museum in the heart of Asakusa. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The woman who greeted us at the museum guided us through a number of the crafts in English. Relaxing and quiet. A respite in busy Tokyo. I loved to see what modern craftspersons are doing with traditional crafting methods today. The museum is free, so there's no reason not to stop in. Check it out.

(Translated by Google) You can see everything in about 10 to 30 minutes at the Koburi Traditional Crafts Museum. The paulownia chest / chest has a really high-class feel, and I thought it wouldn't be out of place in a Western-style room. (Translated by Google) Most of the works are crafts made by craftsmen in Asakusa, Taito-ku, but as the name Edo suggests, there are also works designed from the old Edo period like modern craftsmen, and many impressive things are exhibited. I am. If you have time, it will be an eye candy even if you look at it while sightseeing. Please drop in. The casket is free!

(Translated by Google) Now I needed a temperature gauge and a representative's name and phone number for Corona. As a souvenir, I got a pin, and each person got a candy ball for free. Inside, there was an exhibit of handicrafts, and when the QR code was read, the specific contents were listed. I thought the inside of the store was a very kind place because it had WiFi. The place is not so large, so even if you look slowly, you can see it in 20th to 30th place.

Yes, there used to be all kinds of craftsmen in Edo. Local people will accept. Right now, as a measure against corona, I'm measuring body temperature, wearing a mask, and doing a questionnaire.
