I’m a big fan of Snoopy but found this whole museum and experience was really lacking and restrictive. They really try and squeeze as much money out of you. Photo with the giant statue cost extra, photo with Snoopy cost extra. Museum prices are double that of Snoopy Town shops. We booked online in advance- 1800 yen to enter but everything else is always booked out. A photo with Snoopy or Snoopy making class is difficult to book. Staff there are cold / unbothered and let’s be honest who are really only there to tell people off. Shop items are expensive and you can’t even pick it up to feel the quality. Better to go to the arcade next door and win yourself a Snoopy plush than paying the exorbitant prices they charge at the shop.

Very fun and special! Just like the old time! Feeling like being healed. Feeling like being a child again. Charlie Brown and Snoopy are still amazing even though it s been so many years. If your heart and mind need to be healed, come visit here and relax.

This Snoopy Museum is located at Minami Machida Grandberry park stn. Advance tickets (online purchase) are 1800/adult and on-site tickets are 2000/JPY. You need to leave your baby car at 1F and carry your baby. Tour starts at 3F with a 3 min intro video and then proceeds to another room exhibiting life history of Charles M Schultz. 2F odd full of snoopy statues for photos and selfies. 1F is souvenir shop and it lacks creativity. They just put snoopy logo on everyday items like stationeries and towels and sells them at triple the normal price. Overall 2000JPY per adult experience is not justified. Not worth. Nothing much attractive for kids.

Fun cool place to visit to learn of the history of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. Must do if in Tokyo! The Grandberry mall that it is located in is an extremely clean, modern, and upscale mall. Absolutely beautiful!

This is the first Snoopy museum in the Japan The works on display in this exhibition are part of a collection from the Charles M. Schulz Museum or the author's museum of Snoopy in Santa Rosa, Calif. The overall atmosphere of the Snoopy Museum is beautifully and serene, similar to the original Schulz Museum. Every 6 months there will be new exhibitions. Come out to see each other, which many works that have been shown. It is the original of the early Peanuts cartoons. Charles hand-painted by himself, which is very rare now, there are also works of Charles that have never been published. This legend I really can't miss it. For an exhibition that is open to view at this time, it is called My Favorite Peanuts. The work that is displayed is the original 60 Peanut cartoon works by Mr. Jean, your wife, Charles selected by hand. For example, the series "Sweet Babboo" is the nickname Mr. Jean used to call her husband and her husband wrote it in a cute story. Let us read Besides that, there are also many other works. That convey the love and warmth of the family To have a look at each other as well In addition to the original works of the painter There are also original snoopy products. The very first newspaper published by Mr. Charles. Past and history, many stories that we did not know. Will know all In addition, there will also be a favorite celebrity lover such as Atchan or Maeda Atsuko, former AKB48 group, and many others. Called filled with love that every People really have an affinity for this cartoon. The cafe here is called Cafe Blanket. The blanket here is Mean the blanket that is Charlie's best friend Linus. Brown loves and possesses the most that the shop is designed in an airy and comfortable way to sit and chill without feeling uncomfortable. There was also a long blue table in the middle, symbolizing Linus' blanket. The food here is a bit high priced at 1000 yen or more per dish. For sandwiches, it costs 1500 yen or more, but if you only eat a milkshake, it will cost 990 ~ yen or more. Pancakes are only one type, the price is about 1300 yen.

A long line of waiting. There are total of 3 floors. 2 floors are for displaying Snoopy Sculpture and introducing the author and comics. Ground floor is for shopping. If you are a Snoopy fans, is good for you to take a look. However, if you are not a snoopy friend, you will just keep waiting and waiting.

Adorable for snoopy fans. I didn’t expect it to be quite interesting but it was. However, it is small and the area can be far from many things. Merch is also very overpriced!! Good photo spots though.

The introduction room is absolutely amazing but the follow on exhibits feel a little lackluster in my opinion. I feel my favorite parts were beyond just the comics and included comments on Shultz’s personal life and small exposes on each character. Feels a little small scale for the price but overall it was very nice and still worth it. Kawaii for sure!

A must place to visit for Snoopy fans although it is kind of far away from the center of Tokyo. (1hr drive). Highly recommend to buy a ticket beforehand with discount. The museum itself is well curated with detailed history and valuable displays but it is small so it would take about an hour to see it all.

My husband loves Snoopy, he has a whole BIG collection at home of Snoopy & Peanuts things. Needless to say, this was most likely the highlight of our vacation. It's amazing that a Snoopy Museum exists! The food was amazing and the tour was a blast. We had so much fun & took way more pictures then what I'm showing here. I will edit and update more pictures later on of course. My favorite piece there was the comic strip art wall making up a picture of Charlie Brown and Snoopy. In person you see these individual comic strips 3D out the wall and it looks very cool walking up close to it. It's hard to explain, but to see that in person is amazing honestly. They have a gift shop at the end of the tour! The price of the stuff for sale in the gift shop was kind of expensive, but definitely worth it. The entry fee wasn't expensive though!

Moved from the previous location, Roppongi and reopened in December 2019. In the white and clean building, you can learn about the writer’s life and history of Peanuts/Snoopy. The exhibition is on 2nd-3rd floor. The shop is on the 1st floor before exit. Plenty photo spots and comic strips to enjoy. I think it’s suitable for Snoopy grown up fans, not for small kids because there was a lot of readings, nothing else much to keep little kids entertained. Online ticket is 1800jpy. (200jpy cheaper) Easily accessed from Minami machida grandberry station. Only couple minutes walk across the bridge from the outlet entrance through the mall.

I loved it. Animation room to introduce the museum is great, the history and sculptures are great too. Staff is always friendly. Just consider that you have to pay extra for the museum photo of the big snoopy and you get access to the digital copy of it.

In the main entrance, there are no English version of rules and regulations.... and I dont notice that I can not use a mobile phone holder to take photos. At the last spot, I try to take a photo with my phone holder, I set up everything and ready for taking photo. one of the male staff stopped me in a very rude way. in the hall, everyone looks at me being caught by a staff .... it was so embarrassing and horrible experience, .... I will never go this place again ....

Highly recommend place if you’re a big Peanuts fan, otherwise feels a bit overpriced. There’s several sections dedicated to Peanuts characters and Charles Schulz, and there’s famous comic strips on several of the walls. The experience ends in the gift shop, which is again overpriced but has cute souvenirs.

Great exhibitions, history, information and gifts store. There’s also a Snoopy cafe next to the museum. A must for fans of Schulz!

Perfect as an indoor activity. The temperature inside is perfect. The Museum has three floors, on the 2nd and 3rd floors you can enjoy the history behind the Peanut comic. It takes about 2 hours to see the whole place plus the time you want to spend in the souvenir shop (1st floor). The place is located within a huge mall, so you better come with time if you want to shop a little bit. There's a locker system, so don't worry about carrying any bag. The staff at the reception are nice and very polite, they can speak English. There are discounts only for elementary school kids, otherwise is ¥2,000 ticket. Outside the museum there are many spots where you can take pictures too!

Cute museum with comic snippets that make you smile. Reservation of tickets was easy online. Easy access from the train station and next to a shopping mall.

I recommended for Snoopy fan. It was cute and I alway exiting when I walk through every section. I would have to say about the price for entry which is quite expensive. It took about 1 hour from the city by train. Anyway I love it, cute and sweet

Worth a visit if you are a huge Peanuts (Snoopy) fan. Save 10% on the regular ticket price if you purchase it in advance, just note that you cannot change or cancel for a refund after you place the order. Visiting the museum also gives you access to the store on the way out.

This place is definitely a must visit if you are a Peanuts/Snoopy fan! The exhibition was very cute and I learned so much about the Peanuts characters and history. The gift shop sold a wide variety of merchandise which would make great souvenirs. My only caveats are that the exhibition was a bit short and could be more interactive. If you are located in the middle of Tokyo, it is also an hours trek so do bear that in mind.

Heaven for snoopy fans. My little one loved this place. There is a snoopy cafe and a park full of snoopy statues right outside the museum.

It was awesome place to visit. So many cool things to see. I liked the snoopy store however I expected it to be a lot bigger and more things. The one downside is they advertise a comic book categorized into years but you can’t buy it from them.

Many cute items ,but I think the entrance fees is quite expensive. This place is too small. It was taken just only 1 hr to look around.

Overall, the museum is spacious and well presented also. the photo booth so interactive and good spot to take photo. the selfie camera you need to pay for a downloadable photo. it would be better if they prepared the booth to print the photo instead to download it.

I really enjoyed the Snoopy Museum. It was cute and I learned a lot about some characters I didn’t know about (who knew Linus had so many love interests?). While I did really like it as a Snoopy and Charlie Brown fan, I would have to say that it is a bit overpriced to view a bunch of comic strips. Also I’m surprised that you can’t enter the gift shop without paying admission into the museum. Overall I say it’s worth it if you’re a Peanuts fan.

Very crowded in weekend. You must pay for the ticket to get inside this place. Actually, I think this place suit to teenager or child because they will like snoopy very much. In there too, you can buy some souvenir or meal which all things about snoopy. I recommended you to come here. Thanks ^^

Not much. It is housed in a very boring building and it is rather small inside. There is no atmosphere whatsoever. The staff are polite but not very chatty or friendly. Even for a die hard Snoopy fan like me, this is a disappointment. You really must go to the Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA.

  • 5/5 Sadie C. 11 months ago on Google
Very cute and the shop had a lot of nice items. You cannot leave and reenter, and the shop is the last stop. If you take your time to read each display it will take about 1-1.5 hours. There are a few photo backdrops and props you can take photos with throughout the museum. The cafe is next to the museum.
