High-quality vegetarian (perhaps vegan) restaurant with an English menu and friendly English-speaking staff (at least the night we were there). The ambiance is fun -- lots of wood and ladders and low beams (watch your head). Sometimes live music. We got the sense that this place is hipster central in Furano (but still conscientious servers and well-prepared food).

One of the best meals I've had in Japan. And I don't usually eat vegan food. Run by perhaps one of the most amazing families. TAKE san is awesome his wife is beautiful and his girls are adorable. A truly brilliant place.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to! I loved everything about it. The food was delicious. The owner was thoughtful and she put on great music. The wooden decor was beautiful. We spoke using Google Translate.

One of the best meals we had in Japan which we will remember for a long time. The owner is an extremely warm and kind lady who was managing the show all by herself and with a smile. It’s a place full of character where everything you see is hand crafted. The food was excellent and clearly one of the best we had. Highly recommend this place

We moved to Japan about a year ago, and this is probably one of the best meals we’ve had so far, and we’re not even vegetarians! I didn’t get a picture but we also ordered the “heavenly potatoes”, and a week later I’m still dreaming of them, so ridiculously good! Our Japanese is limited but we had no trouble placing our order - it also helped that the Woman than served us was super friendly and kind! If I am ever in the area again, I am definitely coming here.

Really cool place with amazing food and drinks. Best food in Furano! Recommend the edamame, tempura and deep fried tofu. Really friendly, fun and welcoming staff which made for an incredible dining experience. 100% would recommend and will definitely go back.

Having been traveling in Japan for almost a month now, I was super excited to find a Vegan/vegetarian restaurant! It was good to know this type of eating is alive and well in Japan despite having been hungry the last few weeks as Japan definitely does not cater to vegan/vegetarianism. We walked 15 minutes from our hotel (my boyfriend included, begrudgingly, as he is an omnivore), only to see that it was CLOSED despite being advertised on google maps that it was open. I’m giving 4 stars and not any less as I’m happy and thrilled to see vegan/vegetarian options which brings me great joy. Mostly just posting as a warning to others to call ahead and not be thoroughly disappointed and hungry like I was; otherwise I can’t speak for the service and food as I wasn’t able to experience it.

Beautiful family run small business - amazing interior hand crafted by the super friendly owners. Awesome completely vegan menu - entrees, mains, deserts! Great bar with home made choices, local choices and imported choices. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of meal you receive. Great place to have a sit and a chat with the owner - 'Take'. He is a great guy and speaks English, loves a laugh and is happy to help with local skiing options - even spent half a day with me on the local mountain showing me around and spreading the stoke ! And he rips! We will be back for sure when we re-visit furano and it's people like Take and places like Nano that ensure we return to a place such as furano. What a great place :D thanks again !

Amazing vegan friendly food that is filling, full of fresh spices & taste!! As soon as you walk in to Navo you are greeted with a warm welcome and smile! The restaurant itself is artwork.. If you are lucky enough to visit Furano, NAVO is a must even for non vegan eaters!!

Really great vegetarian food, I'm not a vegetarian and I found the dishes were inventive and really tasty. Service was slow, but it's a family run business with only 1 or 2 people cooking so pretty understandable. If you don't mind chilling a bit while the food is being prepared, it's worth the visit.

Highly recommend! Oishi vegetarian and vegan food made by a lovely Furano family. Cool customized wood interior, great music, good local vibe. Many good things to try. We went multiple times and tried a lot of the menu. Favorites were the udon soups - sesame udon and tempura- and gyoza.

Amazing vegan place. We liked it so much that we tried pretty much everything on the menu 😅 the deep fried tofu, the gyozas and the edamame (who would have guessed?) were really our favorites. The drinks were also delicious. The Kalhua soy milk and shiso drink were great.
