A compact hotel with all the basic facilities. Beware of the distance to train station or other attractions if you don’t have a car. The hotel does provide frequent shuttle bus service to the train station. And the view of Mt. FUJI was great. Overall quite satisfied for a budget hotel. Please be noted that no breakfast will be served.

Why the hell does this place have 4,2 stars? It is one of the best hotels/hostel of my stay in Japan! 5 stars from me ALL DAY SON!! + Big rooms (compared to big City hotels) + Cheap price + Room had a beautiful view to Mt. Fuji + staff drives u to the station after your stay + we had a friendly staff with good english! + Cute kimono and Clean room + walking distance to most places - No breakfast :( Just vending Machines with cakes and soda. - the washing machine is old and does a bad job All in all: Very Satisfied! I Will be back here.

What an amazing view on your windows. It is directly show the summit of the Fuji Mountain. The room is super clean and very neat. Fairly small but enough for two adults, or two adults with 1 child. Bunkbed room is also good and comfy. The wifi speed is fairly good but it is unstable to my room as it located on the corner. Facilities are very good. TV channels are okay. AC is good! They also provide a shuttle to and from the Kawaguchi Station. Price are fairly expensive but still acceptable. Thank you, I will come again someday.

Spacious, clean rooms and friendly service. On a clear day we could see Fuji right from our window. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the station which was invaluable in the snow. My only complaint is that the wifi was really patchy but I'm guessing that can't be helped in the region.

Great budget hotel that impressed for the price. We used this as our base for our Mt. Fuji climb. It was budget, had bunk beds, but actually not bad. The bunk beds actually were large enough to snuggle 2 people in the bed and still feel ok. AC was nice and cold, room was clean and larger than places we stayed at in Tokyo. Staff even went out of their way to drive us personally to the train station (which is a small walk away only). Would recommend if you are on a budget or just ok with a smaller place a couple blocks from the train station.

For being one of the most affordable Inns near Kawaguchiko, Fujizakura has superb service with very accomodating staffs, whom were all very patient and friendly despite the language barrier. Some of them spoke really good English while some of them could barely make out a sentence - but they were all so helpful that I didnt mind the small setback in communication. The location is superb! And if you book early, do go for the rooms with Mount Fuji view. Pay that little extra fee and have an uninterrupted view of Mount Fuji exclusively from your balcony. The rooms were well equipped and are better than most rooms any other hotel rooms you could find in Japan (within the same price range). It is also cleaner than most as the staffs would come by every morning to provide room service (should you wish it) and whether you want to or not, provide fresh clean changes of yukata, toiletries and towels. There are some hidden gems/bonuses to being guests to Fujizakura. You get discounts to the entrance of Yurari hotspring and free shuttle rides from there and the hotel. Then you also get free shuttle rides to and from the Kawaguchiko station or Fuji station to the hotel as well. I'm very impressed with the services provided by this place and I would definitely come back again.

Check-in was late at 3pm and the room wasn't anything special. The bed seemed like it was placed in the room as an afterthought and wasn't facing the mountain. The view of Mt. Fuji was obstructed by the parking lot on the first floor. Overall the room was small and basic. The washers and dryers were nice but overpriced. Check-out is early at 10am.

Great budget accommodation with convenience and amazing views of Mt Fuji. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful in providing recommendations and ensuring you have the perfect stay. Walking distance to the main part of town and major train stations and bus terminals but the hotel also run a free shuttle service at designated times. Would stay here again if visiting the region.

Amazing view of mount fuji! Clean hotel with airy rooms. Staff was very helpful. Had a free shuttle to/from the central bus station and a free shuttle to the Yurari onsen. There is a coin laundry room which was really useful: the washers dispense soap automatically which was great, but the dryer didn't get our clothes quite dry after an hour. Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit of a long walk to restaurants, and no breakfast is included, so consider this if you like to eat heartily first thing in the morning.
