The rooms are outdated. Be aware that they have a strict NO TATTOO policy in the onsen. This is obviously their right and their culture and I respect it, just something to be aware of if you’re looking at booking and have tats. Most places sort of follow the “don’t ask don’t tell” and “if you can cover it with a sticker you’re good” method, but when asked about their policy we got a flat “NO” on tattoos in the onsen.

We had a family room and it was one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed in at a hotel, but the positives end there. The whole hotel looks run down and needs a makeover. Every available facility seems to require an extra charge and so we were surprised when asked for tickets to the pool. As it was the final hour, they let us off. We thought the hotel had an onsen, but turns out it's in a separate building further up the hill (short drive or a sweaty walk) and again cost money. Also kids under 6 aren't even allowed in.

Aside from the room being spacious, everything else is a negative. 1- the elevator is a little bit more advance than titanic’s. 2- The hallway is Erie; lights were deem, hallway needs work, paint is peeling, carpet smelling. I could had directed “RETURNING of The Ring/Grudge” here and win an Oscar without editing. 3- The “all you can eat” buffet that costs 37$ bucks but feed you roast pork that textured like pink meat; the chewing gum tempura crab stick had me regretted my life decisions. The staff also is only attentive to those who ordered a drink(wine/beer) that cost xtra $ 4- All the amenities require a cost, and the cost is part of their name, PREMIUM. You can’t pay ME to stay here twice! if wasn’t for my wife, I would rather sleep next to the bear warning sign by the hotel in a sleeping bag!

If you want to stay in a Catskills-esqe resort, this might be the place for you. Built for a different age, everything here comes at a premium, if you can get it at all. Strange smells distract from the ineffective "air conditioning". The bewildering shower controls compliment the bizarre fountain-fill toilet tank. Unable to comment on the facilities. The pool had already closed by 5PM on the night we were there. Baby might have recommend this place 60 years ago, but I wouldn't go back today.

Worst service ever had in Japan. The reception staff was rude and impolite. The kid was scared off by him. The hotel ignored the booking remarks and asked for extra money for check in. We spent two hours at the reception for asking refund. The staff did not communicate with my travel agent and simply hanged off the phone. It was the most terrible experience ever.

I was excited to stay here, the photos make it look very nice. It worked for a night but I would not want to spend much time here. Very outdated rooms. Seems like it has not been updated since the 70's. The mattress was very hard and a bit uncomfortable. Signs say there is an ice machine in the lobby, but there is no ice machine. The food at the breakfast and dinner were cold. Add others said, fees galore; some in our party wanted to play tennis, but we're told it was 1000 yen to play.

Great place to stay and relax yourself! The services are great, the food is fantastic, and the onsen area is paradise.

This hotel has okay service. Rooms had a nasty urine-like smell. The carpet in the second bedroom is sticky and extremely uncomfortable & dirty. The Water pressure on the sink is very high, which causes water to go everywhere. The toilet locked from outside and we had to call them to open it. There is also a window in the shower, and you can easily see through it when it is closed.

Staff are super helpful. Good location and there's a view of Mount Fuji from the restaurant. Make sure you book for dinner in advance as it fills up quickly. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but comfortable and large

The aesthetic was pretty good, and their food was really good, and they came relatively fast. It was very very nice place to stay at. The room was the perfect size, the bathroom was nice, and the view was beautiful. I would love to go back and stay there.

Shuttle service is per reservation only so prepare and call ahead. Transportation is very limited.

It’s vibes were really weird and overall just very creepy. The rooms were nice and spacious though. The dinner options were ok and the breakfast was great!

It's good for big groups... The breakfast buffet was fantastic, however the room was a little old and beaten up.

The place is so eerie and creepy. Once we get in the room we found so many mirrors and the air flow was so bad. The bed has stain in red and some fluid on. At the same time, upstairs has some sounds from time to time. We did a checkout immediately. Creepy place… won’t recommend at all!!!
