I visited for the first time on July 16, 2023. I had little interest in 🏇horse racing🏇 as a form of gambling, but I was able to experience and watch a race 🐴➰💨 at the main horse track, which is very real and powerful, which you can't get from watching races in a small frame on TV or SNS. I was able to do it 👍️ The sight of the horses galloping in a straight line in front of the goal was truly spectacular. By the way, of course I lost in my personal battle, but I still want to somehow find a convenient time for the next event in November and re-enter in many ways.

This was my first time visiting. The bus departs from Sendai, but it takes an hour and a half, so be careful if you live near a restroom! The local racetrack is great because the food is delicious, but I don't get to go to it very often. The building had an open atrium and a great sense of openness! I was walking around so much that I forgot my horse racing ticket. I want to come again I was wondering if there were any horse racing newspapers for sale here, but they were near the inner horse track passageway, and people who come by express bus, including myself, don't drink much water in the second half of the race so as not to get too close to the restrooms. I thought it would be better to decide on a time to return home in advance. 2023 November This is my second visit. Access is by walking to Fukushima Station. Maybe it's the time of the year, but there are food court shops, food carts, bento boxes, and lots of things to eat, not even horse racing tickets. Unlike last year, I had a UMACA seat this time.It was like an internet cafe, but I was able to concentrate comfortably. It was a bit bland, but I didn't like the indoor area this year because there were so many insects flying around. There were many people with children and it looked like it was fun and comfortable. Personally, I think it's the third most difficult racecourse to get to after Sapporo and Hakodate, so I think it's a great place to visit. The negative point is that it is difficult to connect to the radio waves. There is Wi-Fi, but it is necessary to protect your personal information.

The only racecourse in the Tohoku region operated by JRA. It has a long history, having been established in 1918, and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018. It is a typical local racecourse with a flat and short turn, but the straight lines are short and the race is overwhelmingly inside the racetrack.Although the horses in front have an advantage, there are times when the leading horses compete too much and both fall, and when the condition of the turf track worsens in the second half of the event, The outer frame may also be advantageous. The event is often held during the rainy season, so it is important to judge the weather and track conditions. The obstacle course is a sash course with a banquet just like the one at Kokura Racecourse, and it's fun to watch, but it's a bit disappointing that the Fukushima obstacle course is often combined into one race, and before you know it, it's over.

Although it is located in the city, many visitors arrive by car. There is also a route bus from Fukushima Station, and there is a bus stop called Keibajo-mae (230 yen), but if you get off at the pension office entrance (210 yen), which is one stop before, you can enter from the south exit of the racecourse. This is my first visit in a few years, but first I go to Uchibaba and have a drink at Michinoku Fukushima local beer. A new facility called the Rose Garden had been built next door. All of the JRA racetracks are beautiful and there are many places to play. The popular horse Yoshio also worked hard as a guiding field.

Visited by car from Yokohama. It was very far and I was tired. There are mountains surrounding the racecourse. The atmosphere is very nice, so I would recommend it to people who like dirt horse racing.

Speaking of summer horse racing, the Hokkaido Series and Fukushima Kokura Niigata I decided to visit for the first time in several years. Last time I visited when the Twin Turbo Memorial was held. I was in a hurry, so I took my time this time. Using Sendai Airport, it takes about 20 minutes by Shinkansen from Sendai to reach Fukushima Station, and from there it takes about 10 minutes by bus. It costs 230 yen to go to the racecourse, and you should buy the bus and train fares for the return trip and the horse racing ticket for the final race in advance, and keep the money separate. That is a common saying. Quiet topic The racecourse is a short turning course, so the buildings are neither too big nor too small. After the earthquake and subsequent earthquakes, it has been renovated several times and is now beautiful. There is a good view from the upper floors of the building, and you can also see the equestrian practice area in the inner horse field. There are play facilities and food cars for children in the inner baba area for children to play with, but looking at the children in the summer heat, I wonder if it's too hot? I'm a little worried On the wall of the underground passage leading to the inner horse track, there are cute illustrations explaining how racehorses grow and become racehorses. This is worth a look. Exhibits such as the history of Fukushima Racecourse Is there something related to twin turbos? I was thinking that Unfortunately, only Nakadate jockey's competition uniform was on display. Communication side Free WIFI and Docomo signal reception depended on the location, but there were some parts where it was pretty bad. Meal aspect At lunchtime, there is a long line for the famous offal stew. Other than that, there were a lot of noodles, and they were done at a reasonable speed, but it seemed like it would be safer to wait a little longer. The peach soft serve ice cream was delicious, and after all, peaches are what you'd expect in Fukushima in the summer. It's beautiful, not too big, not too small, and although there are some parts that I think are lacking in terms of food, it's easy to access. It's a very nice racetrack.

For those who live in the city and are not interested in horse racing. Perfect for family vacations. Once inside, it feels like a theme park in another world within Fukushima City. The food and drinks are a bit pricey, but they're delicious, and on race days, celebrities come to visit, and you can enjoy watching the impressive horses up close. The flower garden is also very beautiful, and the atmosphere is not crowded with people who come all the way from other prefectures. There are plenty of play areas for children and it's cheaper than an amusement park lol The other day I saw the comedian Zakosi and my stomach twisted lol
