Lovely place, lovely owner. When I walk in there I felt like I was back in time with old television, toys and the atmosphere was just like the Showa time of Japan, it reminded me of the good old time when the family still gather around at dinner time watching TV shows/films on a tiny TV, if you are the first generation of the 90’s you must come here. The food was great, specially her curry and seafood rice, I love them all. Beside that the owner is a very nice lady, she even gave us snack for the 1st visit and 2 big Meiji chocolate bars on the 2nd visit (maybe she knew we are tourist and on those days we couldn’t see Mt.Fuji because of the continuously rain for days). Definetely would comeback to this place!

Retro café in Fujiyoshida! I orderred curry rice and corn butter. The curry rice was great and big portion as well as the corn butter. The ambience is cozy and homey. There is English menu and freindly for foreigner. The woman who runs that restaurant is very kind :)

Delicious pasta, lovely atmosphere. 👍 the lady with red hair (the owner?) was so nice and gave us chocolate and postcards as gifts. We came across this lovely cafe by accident and it made our day.

Very nice and warm place to have lunch in. The owner is a lovely old lady that greeted us very warmly. The menu have English names, and you can check the dishes photos on a website that you can access by scanning a QR code in the cover of the menu. Very nice touch from a remote restaurant like this. And don't worry if you don't have data on your phone, theyhave WiFi in the restaurant. The best part ? The dishes are delicious 🤤 Plus the atmosphere is unique, with an inside decor that reminds you of a Ghibli studio film.

Great food in an unforgettable restaurant. The entire place invokes a homey atmosphere and the woman running the restaurant is very kind. The whole menu is in English and has a QR code you can scan on your phone to show you images of the meals which are all reasonably priced as well. Definitely something to check out in Fujiyoshida.

It is a simple home cooked Japanese food. It was delicious, I ate the hamburger steak sandwich, it was fabulous. Curry rice was very nice too. Only an old lady working there, she seems to be the cook and the server. After paying her, she gave us 2 chocolate bars and a post card. Such a sweet lady.

Food was really good. Cozy atmosphere. Nice staff and fairly quick service. I reccomenf this for all families. The only problem I have is that there was someone smoking inside even though there was no smoking signs outside. Slightly confusing. There was a window to open, though, so it wasn't a big problem.

Awsome bar/Restaurant with delicous meals and the best ice lemonade 😍 Great athmosphere. The owner even gave us some snacks when we left.

A small, nice restaurant with delicious food, cold beer and an English menu. The owner gave us a few small gifts as a farewell. I'll be happy to do it again next time, thank you very much.

I’m giving her a 5 star because she gave me a chocolate bar! Food was good! But it was slow. She was the only one in the restaurant so just have to be patient.

The owner is very nice and accommodating~ gave us chocolates and a souvenir. It was my first time having curry with cheese on a sizzling plate, it was surprisingly delicious! I definitely want to eat this again and highly recommend this to curry lovers!

I really liked the atmosphere and the care of the lady. I ordered a hot chocolate and rare cheese cake and both were great. My friend ordered a chocolate cake and he didn't like it much (but I think chocolate in Japan is not really a thing anyway). When we paid the lady gave us two chocolate bars as presents. I definetely would come back :)

Nice lady, but the food was not that good for my taste. It's like a mixture of Japanese and Western food, kinda weird.

There isn’t food photos because the cold made me ravenously hungry and the food was so yummy! This place is a gem, run by a cute おばあちゃん(Obachan 👵🏻). Please have some patience as she’s the one cooking and making your coffee and collecting payments as well. She would appreciate basic Japanese if possible. I had pork cutlet lunch set and everything was so well done, even the miso soup. It was so cold and just being inside warms you up. And after paying she us 1 bar of chocolate each, I’m very curious to see her fridge, I’m sure it’s stacked with rows of Meiji chocolate. So generous of her! ❤️

Awesome food is great owner is so kind I definitely recommend this restaurant if I can put more than 5 fives stars it will be with pleasure. Furthermore if you eat only halal food they have an incredible spaghetti sea food

This place offer menu in English .Hamburger beef with Japanese sauce set is cheap and delicious. I’m very into the vintage vibe and comic book decoration. And also female owner (mabye) and old lady gave us 3 Meiji milk Chocolate when we leave. very warm-hearted.

It was delicious! If you come to Fujiyoshida you should eat here! The restaurant is very atypic and the atmosphere is very cool. The owner is very nice and gifted us chocolates!

Cute place run by a nice lady. The food was great. It was one of the few places open at lunch time. It felt the owner did all the job, so the service took some time. In the end she gave us all a Meiji chocolate bar, which was very nice and unexpected. Would definitely go again!

Delicious home cooking lunch for 700 yen. Had some Japanese chocolate and toothpicks in a kimono shaped package as takeaway 😊 Nice experience for a hungry traveler from Europe spending few hours strolling around Yoshida.

This is a smoking restaurant. Food is a fair price for the area, with average taste. It does take quite a while to be served though, so keep that in mind if you're willing to sit there and smell the smoke. The lady servicing us was nice, and she gave us a small chip packet as a gift as we left. Atmosphere inside was quite dim, with questionable English songs.
