コロナ禍で年末年始の平日ということで朝は少なめ。昼すぎて天気が良くなってきてようやく人も増えてきましたが、平時の1/2から1/3くらいでしょうか。
やはり屋外型なので天気悪い時はなかなか辛いです。
館内はとにかく広く、屋外の彫刻の展示がメインです。
どれも素晴らしいですが、中でもピカソ館とシンフォニー彫刻はマストかと。
ピカソ館はこれ含めたら彫刻の森美術館の入場料、実質無料なのでは？と思うくらいの充実。
ただ、館内撮影禁止です。
いわゆるインスタ映えなポイントは、広場のところと、なんといってもシンフォニー彫刻でしょうか。
どう撮っても絵になるのでこれ見て行きたいと思う人は多いはずです。
雨の後で少し濡れてて階段やら屋上が怖かったですが、中を撮るには影響ありませんでした。
混んでる時だと登り下り別とは言え多少待ちそう。
その他にも足湯があったり、休むところは多いので半日くらいかけてゆっくり回るといいのではないでしょうか。ご飯を食べるところはあまり無く混むので持ち込みもありですね。
所要時間は展示をしっかり見た場合で2.5時間〜3時間くらい見ておいても良いかもしれません。
朝の方が空いているので開館の9時に入ったらほぼストレス無しで見られて、12時前には一旦出られてご飯に行けると思います。再入場もOKなので見忘れたやつとかもう一回回るといいと思います。
