I waited for breakfast for more than an hour every morning and even 90 minutes on the first day. I went at 7 a.m., not during peak time, but I had to wait for a one hour. One of the reasons is that the membership took it first. Diamond grade is fine, but I don't think it's good to let the Gold members in.Or I think it's right to run a separate restaurant for membership. It is a complaint that they receive this service even after paying for an expensive breakfast. In particular, it is impossible to wait for an hour without a seat.

Hospitality and service at its best! Year after year I absolutely love staying here. Business brings me to the island and my first reservation is always this Hilton resort. It's in the perfect location, the rooms and amenities are fantastic! The shower is amazing, the restaurants are greats, even the dessert and gellato stand in the lobby is amazing. Above all else the staff is by far the kindest, patient, and so very helpful. I truly feel so spoiled staying here as a guest, would not ever think of staying anywhere else.

The room would have gotten 5 stars 🌟 but the bed was too firm, and the air conditioning didn't get cold enough. It also turned off in the middle of the night. Besides that, the room was perfect. My view was amazing.

My wife and I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary at the Chatan Hilton and it was a really great experience. The staff was amazing and very helpful. They answered all our questions and we had a wonderful stay. Domo!

The hotel is very nice. We chose 9F executive rooms. We can access to executive lounge from 7am to 7pm. It provides breakfast and snacks. Only one thing I have to complain is the room is a little small.

Very clean, very professional, easy parking, great location! Every Friday(Saturday?) they have a firework show out on the wave break behind the hotel. 95% of the rooms' views look out over the back. This is one of the best Hiltons I've been to.

I would never stay here again. The rooms are OK at best. I have never been dissatisfied with a Hilton property as a diamond member, but this one was able to do it. Bottom line: Avoid at all costs.

We stayed three nights here and we got upgraded to the ocean view room with terrace. We had complimentary breakfast and club lounge access. The location was just ok. If you are not planning to go to any site seeing, the hotel located in the middle on the island. Few minutes walk to the American village, there were so many restaurants.

The ocean view is further back than what is photographed on travel/booking websites. The Double Tree Hilton’s views are used to advertise for the Hilton’s views. So if you want seaside and much closer views of the ocean, it won’t be at this hotel, it will be at its sister hotel right beside the boardwalk. It’s a bit deceptive, overall- the hotel is pleasant and so is the staff.

Hotel is nice, clean, and modern. Beautiful decor, comfy beds, and nice restrooms. The staff are not representative of the normal hospitality expected at Hilton hotels. There was no service or attentiveness of the staff at the breakfast as is typical of all Hilton hotels. My wife was refused entrance to the breakfast, and after ensuring that we charged breakfast to the room to get her in, she had the manager come to inform her that she was not welcome to her privileges as a diamond member because of a group booking. This has never happened at any Hilton property across the world for us. Hilton corporate did well to help right the situation, but I would not recommend this property due to local management.

What a wonderful hotel!! The hotel is beautiful, the service exceptional, and the location cannot be beat. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and the way they take care of patrons. I had a fabulous stay and if I am able to come back to the area I am definitely staying here!

An outstanding resort with great people. Pool facilities are some of the best I have seen with 3 separate areas (indoor exercise, outdoor adults, outdoor family). Staff is professional and friendly. Rooms are spacious, modern, well-deserved and comfy.

This was ny first visit and Ill definitely return. I loved my room and its gorgeous view of the ocean and horizon. The food was delicious and the service impeccable!

This is the finest hotel I have stayed in among all my travel. The staff were phenomenal, friendly, helpful, and caring. I loved my room, the view from the balcony, even the in-room coffee! I only spent two nights here, but I return to Okinawa several times a year, so it's great knowing I have now found a home away from home. My special thanks to Emiko for the wonderful check-in. She was concerned that I would enjoy my stay and take in the beautiful scenery and surroundings. She offered suggestions for where to have lunch and dinner. Emiko, you are a great Hilton Ambassador. Rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Service very good too and the location next to the American Village is very convenient. We had ocean views and a small balcony that we used a lot to watch the sunset with a drink.

Rooms are spacious and modern. Breakfast was of good quality. We had an ocean view king room on the top floors and have to say I think the view is better from the DoubleTree next door. Service is cold to unfriendly at best, really below standards for upscale hotels in Japan. Overall it's a good hotel, but not worth the steep rates. Ps. Just cause the hotel has a pool, it doesn't make it a resort!!!

The Okinawa Chitan Hilton Hotel offers a fantastic experience. The rooms are spacious, and the ocean view is breathtaking. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The hotel has 3 on-site restaurant and a lounge for gelato and some sweets. The buffet restaurant Suryan is very nice and offers a wide selection of foods. Try the fried chicken for breakfast, it’s great! Hotel also has two nice pool areas, which helps since the hotel does not really have a beach. The closest beach is Araha Beach which is about 10 mins away by car. Depot island is also within walking distance but not much else is around the area.

International standard hotel The receptionist is very good. Free parking. Breakfast is of good quality and tastes good. The rooms are clean and safe. You can walk to many nearby places. Our family recommend you.

If your business or association has an event to celebrate here is the place to go. For 90$ (a person) they offered a beautiful venue, conveniently located next to American Village with a stunning outdoor vista. The buffet had delicious food that varied from yakisoba, California roll, Korean chicken, make your own pita, to Hawaiian shrimp. Along with the buffet was an all you can drink menu that had full beers on it.

A testament of Japanese hospitality! Staff was superb, rooms clean and amenities as a diamond member on point. I will stay here again without hesitation. My only complaint is that the executive lounge and the fitness room are somewhat dated.

Awesome hotel in Okinawa! Great views of the beach from the room with a large balcony that overlooks the pool area and ocean where you can sit and enjoy a beverage of choice. Lot of stuff to do just at the hotel. A few restaurants and a gift shop. A lot of pools but in the winter time only the Indo pool is open I went in December to that kind of sucked but it was ok. Close to American village where there is a so much to do a lot of great restaurants and shops. Lots of parking available at the hotel too. Great place to stay in Okinawa if you want to be close to a lot of stuff to do.

Good hotel , as expected from most Hilton brands . Clean , however room not very big . Breakfast is ok, good choices . Pools are great , but have to walk out of the hotel to another entrance or to the conjoining hotel, so choice of 2 pools . Would definitely stay here again as it’s walking distance to a few places to eat and drink . Can get a little noisy with the bars nearby but they don’t open too late . Staff super friendly and recommended a great yakitori restaurant for us .

Right next to the American village. Very beautiful pools and lobby. Ocean view is spectacular. They speak very good English and can charge your card in dollars or yen.

I stayed at the Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort for nearly two weeks. As a Diamond member, I have stayed at a number of Hilton properties, as well as many other hotels and resorts for business and pleasure outside of the Hilton brand. The hospitality I received during my stay was second to none. Everyone on the staff was extremely pleasant. I did not have a single negative encounter during my entire stay. The management and staff at this property are to be commended for unbelievable customer service, and for making me feel like a valued guest! I took an opportunity to share those sentiments with the manager, Emi Itabashi, before I left. I would love to go back and take my family.

All started with a terrible sales team that is too incompetent to set up blocks for a 37 night stay. There is no reason to move between Doubletree and Hilton twice, when you can keep some people in the Doubletree the whole stay. BTW, Doubletree Hilton is smaller, but more convenient, has better amenities, and better customer service; it is also just across the Hilton and has a better seaside view. The A/C also does not work as well as the Doubletree. The room was also not cleaned well upon my arrival. There is a dead bug on one of the drawers and a hair strand by the headboard. This is one of the worst Hilton hotels I have encountered, doesnt matter if you are a diamond member. Try the Marriott, Sheraton, or Hyatt if you are willing to spend some dime on a nice vacation. If you really want a Hilton in Chatan, book the Doubletree…..

First day and customer service sucks! The staff here do not excel in customer satisfaction. A few days into my extended stay my tier in status would change. Despite my loyalty to Hilton, I’m truly disappointed in the customer service.

The resort is beautiful, the rooms were large and very clean. The staff in all areas of the resort were very helpful and welcoming.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and spacious. We had great views of the city and the waterfront. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There are two outdoor pools with lots of seating and an indoor pool. The hotel is walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants in American Village. The food at both restaurants was delicious and I look forward to my next visit.

Overall, this hotel comes highly recommended for its exceptional aesthetics, shared pool area, elegant rooms, and the added bonus of an excellent executive lounge. Whether you're a SOFA or non-SOFA guest, this establishment promises a memorable stay that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Rooms mostly all face ocean side which was very nice. Service excellent with front desk, buffet restaurant, and room cleaning. Great location right next to American Village. Lots of places to eat all within walking distance.

Food in the morning is great. Rooms are very clean and modern. Shower is awesome. Everything has been great. Service. Parking. Proximity to shopping and food.

There are much better hotels to stay at in this area. Don’t waste your money on this place. Rooms are way below average comparing to other hotels.

Staff is exceptional and rooms are standard Hilton nice. Buffet is ok nothing special. Outdoor pool all closed and indoor pool and sauna close at 7 which is ridiculously early. No cool bar or anywhere to hang out. Overall you are paying a lot just for the room. Not worth it in my opinion.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful and well run hotels I have been to. Everyone has been amazing and the service is first rate. The restaurant is delicious and I cannot wait to come back and stay here Thank you!

Rooms with balcony are great. Near a bunch of restaurants and shops. Staff is polite and despite some language barriers sometimes are top notch.

Phenomenal hotel with top notch customer service. The executive lounge and breakfast drive me to return to this hotel every time we are in the area. Rooms are great and have a great view of the Saturday fireworks when you get an Ocean view. Kids love the pool and it’s friendly for the very young ones as well. Great location when you want to enjoy drinks at American village and walk back to your room.
