(Translated by Google) Surrounded by greenery, the route is easy to follow, and I think we have been able to fully introduce the attractions of the area, such as satellites, from the history of the area since ancient times and excavated artifacts. I came here just for the Jomon pottery, but I think it's great that they're working on the sewage system as well. It's a waste, so I think people in the neighborhood should definitely visit, and people who are interested in the Jomon period should also stop by. The earthenware display is also quite good.

(Translated by Google) As hot days continue, I came to the planetarium to cool down. Of course, the planetarium of about 40 minutes was wonderfully fun, but a special exhibition was held in collaboration with JAXA, and I visited JAXA Sagamihara before, but this special exhibition was also quite interesting. The permanent exhibits are also very fulfilling, with earthenware and geological geology related to Sagamihara, animals, diorama of the city, astronomical exhibition room, and other surprising things such as old folk houses and Ippen Shonin of Muryokoji Temple, which are indoors. is doing. I am very satisfied that the entrance fee and parking lot are free. (Planetarium only 500 yen) (Original)

(Translated by Google) This is my second visit, but I think that the special exhibition is also active. The ancient and medieval exhibits are a little thin, but the Edo and Meiji sericulture-related exhibits are thicker than the exhibits in other surrounding cities. In addition, the actual farmhouses and huts are on display in the hall, which is spectacular. The graph of production volume in the first half of the Meiji era is a very good explanation, and you can see the actual situation of Sagamihara city. There was something that explained the markets in the surrounding cities, which was a great learning experience. There is also a planetarium, which is a good facility for children to learn. In Tama and the center of the prefecture, I think it is a facility that competes for No. 1.

This is quite a small museum, but it's quite a rarity as it's free to enter. There are some interesting displays of the surrounding areas and models of old style buildings. There is a planetarium, which you do need to pay for, and once a month they hold a Star Party on the roof. You need to book in advance for that. On occasion, they have special exhibits which are staffed by volunteers from the local area. There isn't really a restaurant, but there is a rest space upstairs that has a couple of vending machines. There is also a small Space related exhibit near the entrance to the planetarium as well as an educational study space. It's quite a nice afternoon out, especially if you live close by.
