Probably the best spot to see the longest bridge of the island formation. It's not quite a the regular way from Onomichi to Imabari but only a few hundred meters away. Do not miss it! The shop offering is regular, there's some freshly pressed lemon juice which contains more ice cubes than anything else... Also behind the shop you will find a small museum, free of charge, with an explanation on how the bridge has been built. Very interesting! Try so spend a few minutes there.

A great stop on the way to Hiroshima from Kotahara, the 7 bridge wonder starts here! This is considered the starting point, (for us midway of the scenic route) of a major cycling route for people into this kind of thing! Stop for Coffee, or a snack, enjoy the magnificent bridge! Inside the souvenirs shop behind, is a mini museum truly worth looking at! Perfect!

Good point to watch great the strait. You can see great bridges! Easy access to get there. Enough parking lots. You can take a break in kiosk. In the small facility you can study the history of the bridge, buy a little souvenirs and enjoy refreshments! Especially I love some fresh juices. Just after I ordered they squeezed oranges and served fresh an orange juice!! Super delicious!!! You can use bathroom here! So enjoy it!!

It was fine but I thought the view wasn't the best. I personally wish the view was higher up. The shop is a bit expensive. I wish the location was open 24hrs (maybe it is but the shop is not?).

Definitely offers a stunning view of the bridge. There are disabled parking spaces available and the walk from the sparking spots to the platform is literally just up a curb. It's basically a drive by viewing spot ;) Sadly it's impossible to capture the bridge in good light from that spot because of the mountain blocking the sun. Not necessarily the fault of the observatory.
